The living unit is small, but comfortable for two to spend the night. It does not have all facilities such as a sink and chairs inside and some of the equipment such as the fridge does not work at its best.
The accommodation was sufficient for one night's overnight stay. Annie received us kindly. Although there are braai facilities, there is no kitchen/sink, so the only form of water is in the bathroom sink. The place was not spotless (shower, sink and spiders in the corners of both rooms), but the bedding was clean. Due to the amenities and size of the unit, I would only recommend the place for short term stays. The unit is located at the beginning of the village and although it is not located too far from all the businesses, we chose to drive instead.

Annie's HideAway is ideally affordable if you want to have fun in the Tulbagh area and you're just looking for a bed to sleep on. Secure parking for the car.
Small, safe home for the person who wants to move around a lot and just wants to come to sleep after a long day, clean and tidy. Location 100% right, as soon as you enter the town, quiet area to walk around in the afternoon, close enough to the shops.

We only spent one night after a wedding. Friendly service. Very affordable.
I feel that the general accommodation (except the lovely bed) is very outdated and the appliances also very old. It is only ok for a place to sleep. Not to spend time at. Not given the Wi-Fi password on arrival.
Road noise and noise from the upper wooden floor was disturbing. Lacks space to move around and prepare meals and beverages. Needs an aircon and tv.
We slept wonderfully in the place and I can recommend it. The only thing I would like to see is that an electric device is purchased to control the mosquitoes and a bench or chairs are made available on the veranda for guests - it would be lovely to be able to relax on the veranda.
We had a great time at Annie's HideAway, the wind was just awful so we couldn't barbecue or sit outside on the porch of the unit. We did then cook in the kitchen of the main house and barbecue there on the stoep. Suggestions: It would be nice if a TV and small fridge were put in the unit as well as new pillows.
Wanted to break away for a day or two to the most beautiful location imaginable. Tulbagh enjoyed so much. Annie was the best value for money and everything was so beautiful and delicious!

Anne is friendly, efficient, rooms are clean, central to town, quiet cul de sac. It's not the Ritz but very good value for the budget challenged.
