Our stay at Anthurium 788 was beyond fantastic. The caretakers were very welcoming and after explaining the rules and assisting with everything we needed for check-in, we were awarded the privacy to enjoy the property. As group travellers, we were extremely happy with the level of cleanliness and catering to the little details like towels, utensils, etc. It's a luxurious home away from home and we will most definitely visit again. We booked two units, with the upstairs unit being extremely spacious for both indoor and outdoor group activities. The pool and braai area were also accommodating for a large group.

Very quiet and nobody bothers you. Caretakers are so helpful, 100%. Only the bottom units lack lace curtains, otherwise everyone inside can see what's going on.
The visit was very pleasant. Attention can be paid to slippery stairs 2 of the children fell, even though they were very careful. When it rains, the stairs are terribly slippery.

Easy to find a place near the road. It's in a very quiet place, close to the beach. It's a lovely place to be. I can book it again if I had the chance to do so. Ian and Licia keep up the good work to take care of the place.

Uvongo Park Run is nearby and a must with the trail all along and on the beach. We will visit Anthurium 788 again.

It was a great weekend away in a place that was so clean, convenient and safe. I loved everything about the Anthurium.
We had a very nice stay. Cleaning option gave us a chance to rest and they were reliable during cleaning time. Pool was well looked after by caretakers. Our dogs could run around without worries.

My stay was absolutely amazing, my family and I had the best experience in this home. I hired the entire home for my family and each unit was equipped with full kitchens. It's spacious, private, homely and has everything you would need for a large family. Its situated in the perfect location near shops as well as the beach and main road making it easy to get around and also easy to find your way back. The Home owner is caring and kind and made us feel welcome from the very first minute of arrival, she was available throughout my stay at all times and felt like part of my family. I cannot wait to go back to the Anthurium with my family again. I look forward to my next holiday there. Thank you LekkeSlaap and Maryna for a beautiful holiday.

Everything was very good. People were warm and welcoming.
The place is lovely, especially with a fur baby, fully fenced with a low gate to prevent them from escaping. The caretakers of the property are absolutely lovely and helpful. The pool however is uncovered so you just have to be alert in regards to kids or pets. The only other minor issue is that the showers don't have shower curtains so basically the whole bathroom floor gets wet when you shower. During our stay we had a small mishap with a doorkey breaking, and unfortunately there were no spares and hence required me to go and get one at my cost as on Sundays there are no locksmiths available.
The 3 bedroom unit is very spacious, and has all the comforts you may require for a short or long stay. Quality furniture and good appliances. Big patio. Lovely bathrooms. Very clean. Highly recommended.
Unit was what we expected, bed sleeps great with full DStv. Very well catered with a dishwasher. All amenities are very close. We loved our stay and got to meet the owner who was very friendly and helpful.

The only complaint was from a neighbour saying we were loud and sent the security for us when in fact we were in a closed space and were making minimal noise. But overall was an amazing stay.

The tiles by the pool area are extremely slippery and dangerous. The same tiles are on the top level of the patio. If you not going to use these areas then its fine but simply just walking on these tiles can be a problem and with a small child we had to be on guard all the time that he wouldn't get hurt, which he did on a few occasions. My teenage son also slipped on these tiles. The heat was worse inside the unit than outside with no aircon we all found it very unpleasant. The cleaner was ironing in the lower unit when we where at the pool area my dog (poodle) went into that unit to smell and she took the hot iron and steamed my dog so when she came outside and he went for her barking, the care taker had a problem saying he bit her when no blood was drawn, I checked. He didn't even ask what happened, just assumed it was my dog because he's a yapper. I was upset that the cleaner did this and thought it was funny. Then complained without giving all the details of what she did to my dog. All this time my dog was always accompanied by one of us and we made sure that he didn't go into the other unit she was cleaning. So I wouldn't recommend this place if you have animals or small children as the pool area is also not secure.

We had to place our clothes on the floor because there is no wardrobe in the house. Only two toilet papers were in the bathroom for 4 guests. Please work on that but everything else was fine. We had a great time. Thank you.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy being by the sea. We loved being able to watch the ocean from the enormous balcony and spotted whales a number of times. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The living area was great, we played many board games at the dining room table and enjoyed watching DStv on the rainy days. We were in close proximity to the places we love to visit - The Waffle House, Mac Banana, Ramsgate Beach, Umzumbe Beach and Granny Pools in Southbroom. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed and even when municipal water was off, there was a back up plan. The gas geyser and stove and oven ensure that even if there is load shedding, you can still cook and have a warm shower! We were very happy, will certainly be back. Rita and Neels were the most wonderful hosts - thank you for a great holiday!
We really enjoyed the place. The aunt and the uncle are very nice, helpful people, we received the place clean and tidy and received good service. Friendliest 2 people and definitely made us feel comfortable and welcome. Will definitely stay there again. And definitely recommend it.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Anthurium 788. The accommodation is neat and clean, excellent location near Ramsgate's main beach and nice close to shops and eateries. Aunt Rita and Uncle Neels are very nice people and go out of their way to make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. I would recommend Anthurium 788 anytime and guests will not regret staying here. Once again, a big thank you to Aunt Rita and Uncle Neels, we are already looking forward to our next visit with you.

Neels and Rita are very friendly and willing to help at any time. We still had our privacy even though the 2 apartments are next to each other. We were warmly welcomed. The house is close to shops and the sea. We had a great time there.

Our holiday was nice and we enjoyed it. The owner is very hospitable. If you drive and go to sleep, keep the doors closed. House is near the main road.
They need to have new cleaners. I was there for sometime, the room was clean, but now was not clean. I personally requested toilet paper. No soap. I found glass in the sink. Swab in the sink. All the pots were full of dust.

It was nice. We had fun and the beach was great.
We went without any specific expectations to Ramsgate to rest, to drive around and visit interesting places. Host/hostess Neels and Rita didn't just assist us with advice and suggestions, but made sure the whole time that everything was going smoothly. We made close friendships - ate together in the late afternoon (just a few times), braai'd and spent some time together. Although they always kept a professional distance, in the end it felt like we were visiting friends and were sad when we had to say goodbye.
It's a very nice area, great client service and a beautiful place. We had a nice stay and slept well. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful.

Had a great time at Neels and Rita's place. Neat place and excellent service. Might not be acceptable to everyone to not have exclusive privacy but we really enjoyed it. I think the online as needs to be adjusted to convey that there are people living on the property and that the swimming pool and other facilities are not private.
