The only issue I had was the fact that the gas braai was dirty, other than that no issues.
Although the complex looks pretty old from the outside, it was surprisingly modern and newly furnished inside with everything you could think of. Really well-equipped kitchen and even beach umbrella inside. The view was fantastic !!! and the beach was also close for the kids. The indoor pool was definitely a bonus. However, we struggled with the braai (because we were a bit uncertain about how to use it) and the sliding door in the room could not close, but a temporary solution was made during our stay. Otherwise, we had a lovely. Thank you very much!

I wish I had words. It's peaceful, well-kept, heavenly. It really is a piece of heaven on earth and I recommend it anytime. 10 out of 10. Thank you very much for this little place in the sun where you can go and "refuel" just a little.
Had a lot of fun. Attention can be paid to the following: cleaning services, apartment can be cleaner. There are also moths in the patio cushions/bags. The sink in the kitchen drain runs very slowly. In addition to the goodies, it's a nice place and the hot pool is one of our highlights and the sea view with a fresh cup of coffee.
I would suggest including a daily cleaning service. I learned that it's R300 a day which is ridiculous. I'm assuming the agency wants to profit from this. The tidiness of the two bedroom unit was not up to my standards. The blankets in the main bedroom didn't smell fresh. The cutlery, plates, glasses and pots were all stained. There weren't enough cleaning aids to clean. I can't take my whole cleaning cupboard with me on vacation. The braai and chairs on balcony weren't clean. I don't think the people who make use of the unit clean it properly, which makes it unpleasant for the next group to use the kitchen and unit. The unit does have all the facilities and items needed for function properly, so I would book it again.
The apartment is perfectly located, with a very nice view as in the photos. Definitely some of the best located holiday apartments on the Cape coast. The unit is laid out with the best equipment and necessities. However, the downside is that the unit was very unsanitary. A bad smell welcomes you when you open the front door. The kitchen utensils were dirty and greasy, so we didn't even want to use the oven. The room's carpets were very dirty and full of hair. The bathrooms have an unpleasant smell with no ventilation and were full of hair. The sliding door's window was so dirty that one could not enjoy the view when the doors were closed. The sliding doors can't lock either, which is an unnecessary worry because this is South Africa after all. The porch floor was full of food and oil marks and very creepy. I contacted the caretaker and they sent a cleaner to do the necessary but still the cleanliness was not up to standard. If the above is addressed and resolved, I am sure this is one of the best self-catering units along the Cape coast.
We will definitely keep this apartment in mind. The only negative thing was the braaier which needed some attention. The rest of the flat was excellent (WiFi, DStv, furniture etc.) as well as the service and security. And the location (by the sea) is also exceptional.
Will go back. On the beach and close to restaurants and shops.
The Apartment has everything a more to cater for ones needs. Perfect location, awesome view of the bay and within walking distance to restaurants, wharf, shops. Arrangements that we made through LekkeSlaap was so easy and everyone was so helpful. We will definitely be back and definitely make bookings through LekkeSlaap.
Lekker see-uitsig met alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Ons het dit baie geniet. Die plek was netjies met alles wat ons benodig het en 'n perfekte see-uitsig.
We were surprised by the beautiful gardens in the open areas of the corridor. The apartment is really fantastically equipped. Anything we needed was there. The access to the beach was lovely and the view from the apartment breathtaking!
The accommodation was beautifully clean on arrival and equipped with all the necessary facilities to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. It almost felt like our own home! Thank you very much for renting your beautiful place.
