The downstairs bedroom in the main house has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and the second, separate bathroom has a shower. Dog-friendly, large house with easy accommodation and fireplace for chilly evenings. Fully equipped - except grill not working on the stove. We want to come back.
The ants were a troublesome problem in the kitchen. The washing area is very limited and makes cleaning a problem. The bed in the bedroom next to the living room does not have enough support under the mattress and one rolls to the middle. Everyone said the West Coast was so beautiful, but for me who had never been there and came from Gauteng, it was just an ugly, dry place.
We had a great time on the beach and restaurants, and would highly recommend staying here!
The staff at Paternoster Accommodation were very unprofessional and customer service is non existent for them. It was a horrible experience! Aqua Blue's location is very good. The house is terribly dirty and in serious need of maintenance. Paternoster Accommodation's (which handles the letting) service is incredibly poor and the staff are unprofessional. Numerous messages to the owner of Paternoster Accommodation remained unanswered. Crockery is cracked and the general condition of kitchen equipment is dirty, weak and rusted. Even though guests have to clean the house themselves there is not even a mop or bucket. We requested that the previous guests' rubbish be removed and this only happened after 9 days. The linen was not changed until 3 days after the scheduled appointment. A breakage deposit is charged even if there is no inventory. We waited over three weeks (after applying pressure) to get the deposit back.
We liked the location of Aqua Blue. The antiques in the house are beautiful and there is no better view.
It's a very comfortable house in a fantastic area. Security remains a problem with people walking around the house to beg. The house is not very clean - just look behind the stove etc. The kitchen needs a bigger oven pan. The beds etc. was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there.

No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.The balance of the booking is to be paid 3 days before arrival.
This unit may only accommodate the number of guests as specified on the booking invoice at any given time.
No loud music after 22:00.
No parties on the property, management reserves the right to evict tenants that do not adhere to this rule.
Kindly note that we do not have the authorization to do credit card payments on behalf of guests, we only accept EFT/Bank transfers.
A key- and breakage deposit is payable on arrival. It is refundable within 7-14 working days after the house has been inspected and all found in order. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without full payment received.
DStv can be activated for an additional cost per day.
Please note that no cash will be accepted for breakage fees, balance payments or refunds.
