As per our previous visit, the breakfast was excellent and the room spacious and well-equipped. However, we were disappointed in the level of neglect since our previous stay three years ago. The place has so much potential but needs some serious TLC. Based on this experience, we, unfortunately, will not feel comfortable recommending Aquamarine. The shower doors didn't work properly and the bathroom ceiling needs a coat of paint. The lace curtains were torn and looked shabby. The kitchen drawer doesn't open properly due to swollen wood and the kitchen cupboards smelled bad (mouldy).

The best guesthouse I visited in a long time.
It was really a very nice place where we stayed. The owners are really very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the whole set up of the breakfast was really just something else. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The apartment is very neat and has everything you need, if there is something missing the owner is quick to help and ask.
I would really love to come again as the stay was good even though we spent a night. From the management to the staff we received a good care.

The people of the Baai are renowned for their hospitality and this was no exception. Warm reception and neat, spacious, clean accommodation. Breakfast was a hit. Can recommend, as the location is very central to eateries, the beach, gim and shopping centre. If even I'm in PE again, would definitely go there again!

Neat accommodation and warm welcome after day of conference lectures at University. Breakfast time specially brought forward to accommodate us. Be appreciated. Well located in relation to university, restaurants and walk/jog along the sea. Will book again for sure.

The reception was friendly and there was constant communication. We felt important because of the attention and also the fact that they did some extra things for us. Owner goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable! Playing with the garden hose and Lexi (the dog) was a bonus to keep our 21 month old son entertained and occupied! Rooms are clean and tidy, great to have a small kitchen as part of the room - especially if you have to wash and warm baby bottles! Really value for money.

Aqua Marine provided all that we needed, the room was clean, comfortable bed, plenty hot water and a generous breakfast provided! Easy access to the beach front and all shops and holiday amenities.

Kathy and Gordon are excellent hosts and hostesses and make you feel right at home. The accommodation is very basic but for the good price it is worth it. The room is unfortunately on a very busy road which will affect light sleepers and the quality of the bed is also not good. That aside, everything is more than adequate.
