I am a regular traveller and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern and had everything we needed to feel at home.

Advertisement claims the following: 1. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and snacks are provided. Had to buy own coffee, sugar, milk and tea. Did get filtered water. 2. These were not offered as an option: taxes and extras. a) All meals are available upon request. b) Breakfast: R60 per person. c) Dinner: From R75 per person. Did get mosquito repellant, thankfully. 3. No housekeeping on Saturdays and Sundays, other than to empty the small bin and offer for dishes, but no service on the 2nd weekend, Sunday at all except black bag. 4. Unnecessary 2 times reminder to pay outstanding balance and with another night to go remind if I leave early the balance must be paid and key put in mailbox. Although I still had one night left. Nicky did apologize for wrong dates. 4. Not flexible to help with laundry after 10am, simply said "Washing for today is done already". What was good?. 1. Very hospitable, pleasant people. 2. Did get R25 per night off advertised price, but think that made those extras disappear. 3. Make an effort to make guest feel comfortable, although this guest does not engage in arguments about false advertising and details. 4. Quiet and safe. 5. Painfully neat. 6. Very, very low pressure mechanism removed for better showering experience. Complaining about poor service at a restaurant involves risks, the same with accommodation. I am not the complaining and whining type, but do give my opinion after the meal/accommodation. All in all, perfect overnight accommodation, but not for longer in my opinion. Suggestions?. 1. Fan/aircon in room. 2. Aquadel booklet detailing services. 3. Better DStv package, probably the worst package available, no sports, just BBC News. 4. On a scale of 1 to 10 for WiFi or cell phone signal = -4! Very frustrating. Although they sacrificed their personal data (I won't be able to use it in good conscience). 5. Complimentary soap, shampoo, coffee etc. Branded Aquadel would be a nice touch. 6. Sacrifice larger unit for persons staying longer, not sacrifice to move after few days. Simply too much effort. 7. Tongue in the shade 'shaded parking' will definitely be a bonus. My personal opinion, with little effort Aquadel can be a top accommodation destination. Who knows, it might be the next time I come to visit.

The place is very suitable for a retreat due to its quietness. It is also a place to relax with family and friends without being disturbed and is convenient with access to shopping centers and public transport.

Very warm welcome. Robbie even helped with our bags. Nicky was very helpful with our late arrival. Rooms look exactly like on the internet and are cleaned daily. Will definitely stay here again. Felt particularly safe and comfortable. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed their puppy!

It was such a friendly reception, we immediately felt at home and they really did everything to make the time as pleasant as possible for us, going again in December so that says it all. The hosts and accommodation were wonderful so if anyone travels to Port Elizabeth you can feel free to put it to the test. It was awesome.

Nicky and Rob are such good hosts - nothing was too much trouble! Waited for us so that we could follow them in to town and Nicky even went to check that there weren't too many steps for my wife to manage at the restaurant we chose! House is situated in a lovely area with easy access to main highways. Would certainly stay here again when we are in PE.

Very friendly couple that made you feel at home. Clean room. Sugguestion would be an extension cord for the kettle to plugged in to. Also DStv is separate from the other room to ensure channel changes not frustrating.
