We enjoyed all the house's facilities and had a wonderful stay. Proximity to the sea was tops with a safe path to the waves. Most delicious slept with open windows, with the sound of the waves in our ears.

Due to the stormy weather we had to stay longer and the owner was very kind to let us stay for free. We appreciate it very much. Auntie also made sure that we still got clean towels. We will definitely go again.

Very nice spacious house with large porch. Location is fantastic and you can just walk over the dune to the sea. Very nice stay for family with small children.

The house was close to the sea with great views. However, there was a gas leak from the gas bottle connected to the stove, which made us sick. We did inform the host about it, and it was fixed on the 25th. While cooking Christmas dinner, the gas had run out of the bottle, so our Christmas lunch was very late.

We enjoyed our stay. A wonderful holiday home to accommodate a small family like ours. Will definitely go back again.

The property was brilliantly located and very well kitted out. House was very comfortably furnished, clean, tidy and very nice linen. Great to have 2 fridges, a big freezer and a dishwasher - that really helped make the holidaying easy for 2 families with small kids. My only minor and constructive criticism is that we could have been left a few more toilet rolls and some extra black bags to help us through the first few days. A bottle of kitchen cleaner should also be left in the kitchen so that we can keep the counters clean as we cook. Also, I think a small booklet explaining to guests little things like what to do with recycling, or when the rubbish gets collected and some recommendations about places to eat and explore in the town would be appreciated by guests new to Struisbaai. I am just making some improvement suggestions here, none of these things were negatives to our holiday. Lastly, I think some comfortable outside patio furniture would be a great addition to the house. The patio with the seaview is where we spent most of our evenings, and it would be nice to have slightly more comfortable seating than plastic table and chairs. Overall, it was a great find and we would definitely return.

We stayed 4 nights and only got 1 roll of loo paper per bathroom. Only 1 dishwasher tablet let for us to us in dishwasher. Not a big problem but when on holiday the last thing we want to do is go to the shops for something so menial.

What a nice guest house. The layout is great. Sea view in 3 of the rooms and living room. Indoor barbecue with enough space for a visit around the table. Nice front porch - also overlooks the sea. Excellent location - by the sea, so to speak! I will definitely make Aquarius Holiday Home my getaway home again!

The house is due for a fresh coat of paint on the outside, but other than that, it was clean and neat, had beautiful views and was reasonably priced. Friendly staff and constant communication. I will definitely revisit.

Aquarium Holiday Home exceeded our expectations. The house is located very close to the sea. The house was tidy, big and perfect for a weekend away with family or friends. The indoor and outdoor grill is such a huge bonus. The beds slept well, there are enough bathrooms and the living area is nice and big. We will definitely book the house again. Outstanding.

Spacious bedrooms; plenty of packing space; cupboards in all the bathrooms (a huge plus for storing toiletries!); lovely well-equipped kitchen; comfortable lounge area; both indoor and outdoor braai areas - we all had a wonderful time to relax and unwind. Our visit at Aquarius was very nice. It's just the DStv that didn't want to work, but they were able to fix it for us. Just read the fine print carefully regarding the cleaning fee and breakage. Also very nice.

Lettie was friendly and gave the house a nice clean, just a pity the unit is very old with sad old furniture and not cosy. Lacks a lot of attention and not nice to bring our own towels with us. The furniture is very old and not cozy at all. However, the bedding was clean and the bed good. It's a shame that the unit is so old and neglected.

The sea is very close and the braai area inside the house is very convenient for rainy weather.

It is a wonderful town and amazing beds and the house layout is wonderful but all appliances need immediate attention. For the amount being paid towels should be supplied and the braai needs maintenance because the house is smoked out badly when used.
