The apartment comes equipped with 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom features a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower and toilet. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed and the third bedroom features 2 single beds. There is a second bathroom fitted with a toilet and shower.
The third-floor apartment has a beautifully furnished open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, including a tumble dryer and washing machine. The lounge, which offers beautiful sea views, features a TV, DVD player and DStv decoder. The full DStv bouquet is permanently activated but does not include movies on demand. To maximize the stunning views, stackable glass doors and sliding windows have been used and safety gates have been installed to ensure safety for children. Once inside, it is all on one level but it does have stairs leading to its entrance.
Although the unit does not have a veranda, braaiing can easily take place when the gas braai is wheeled to where the concertina doors open. One is not able to walk out beyond these glass doors and they are secured with a glass balustrade on the bottom half. There is 1 lock-up garage and 1 open parking pay, which is suitable for a small vehicle or trailer, within the perimeter of the complex.
The secure complex is extremely central and a mere 150m walk along the footpath in front of the complex takes you to the main beach. If you need to cool off, the municipal swimming pool is close by. The complex is also within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in central Margate.

10 guests' feedbackOur apartment did not have a balcony and it is not mentioned that some apartments do not have, specifically the one we used. It was one of the things we were looking forward to and it was disappointing. Our apartment DStv subscription viewing was blocked from Saturday the 29th till we left on Sunday. We got lost because of the navigator and ended up at Ithaca. Called and was given correct directions but there was no communication afterwards to check if we found the place. It would have been excellent customer service if we were checked up on as guests.
Excellent view, very neat. Master bathroom light cannot be turned on.
It was wonderful the view was beautiful, cleanliness security and every thing. We had lovely stay.
Grate value for money.
A bit disappointed that the gas was not filled and our braai was delayed. The frying pan is quiet unstable on the stove as its bent over time. The kettle was sometimes faulty. The fridge was leaking water as well. Despite the above we still had a wonderful time and our gas issue was resolved asap. Will definitely be back.
Good service provided. We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful and well distinguished accommodation. Value for money indeed.
The flat was awesome. Just the stairs killed us.
Evrything was up to standard, the sea views and lagoon view was great and its walking distance to the beach where you can have breakfst and relax.
When booking this accommodation we saw that the apartment was in Marina Beach. When we received the address it said Southbroom. When we finally arrived at our destination we were right on the lagoon in Margate Central. We really wanted to stay in Marina Beach due to the beautiful beaches and the quiet destination. We were very happy with the actual flat we stayed in, it was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Just in the wrong area.
The flat is good but the Zest Consultants are rude and dishonest. They make you feel like they are doing you a favour. Utterly displeased with their customer service.

A refundable breakages deposit of R 500 is charged and will be refunded into guests bank account within 10 days of receiving the breakage deposit form back if there are no losses or breakages.
All bookings must be fully paid in advance no less than 1 week prior to occupation.
50% of the total rental amount is to be paid upon reservation, the balance to be paid directly to Zest Holidays 1 week prior to arrival. If the booking is made within 1 week of guests arrival then the full amount is due at the time of booking.
No extra guests allowed over and above the number of beds in the apartment. If extra guests are found in the units, eviction will take place.
No smoking allowed inside units.
The volume of music and noise is to be kept to a reasonable level at all times.
None of the accommodation is suitable for guests who intend playing loud music, playing boisterous and noisy games or holding parties of any sort.
If a disturbance is caused that leads to guests and permanent tenants complaining, the Lessee may be evicted and will forfeit the rental paid.
