The apartment is located on the second floor and has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom features a double bed whilst the second and third bedrooms each has twin beds and share a bathroom. All 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans. Linen and bath towels are provided but guests must bring their own swimming towels with. The unit also features a beautifully furnished open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with tumble dryer, washing machine and microwave. The lounge has is plasma screen TV, DStv decoder, with DStv being permanently activated.
Outside, there is a lovely veranda with sliding doors and gas braai, making it the ideal spot where one can enjoy a braai or sundowners. The superb sea view makes this a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.
The complex is fully walled and has automatic gates. Guests are provided with 1 lockup garage and open bay parking.

Location took us to the same Lagoon Rd, but wrong venue.
I would definitely be returning, place is very clean and the help of cleaning service is excellent.

The place was good, however, I was not impressed with the daily cleaning as the cleaners were not cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms at all. On my second day, no cleaning was done at all, no bedding done. l don't know if I was supposed to have my own toilet paper as well. I was not impressed at all with the cleaners. I enjoyed the space, but they don't cater blankets for cold weather, it was not good for kids.
Big comfortable apartment but no air conditioning. Very uncomfortable during the hot months! Would have booked somewhere else if we realise sooner it had no A/C! Earlier it had no A/C!
Margate as a town has deteriorated terribly.
Arabella it in the perfect place baby the beach and shops. Going to Arabella No. again for sure. 5 to go! Thank you very much for the good service.
Collected keys at Sasol garage. Checked in with no problems .The unit is beautiful .Very clean and spacious.
The unit is well equipped as a self-catering unit. Only negative aspect is that there are guests checking in on weekends who are partying and noisy. The amount of guests per unit also needs to be better controlled as there were approximately 20 guests staying in two units over a weekend.
I was just not aware of the admin fee and breakage fee that I had to pay. I think it need to be included in the fee so that I know exactly how much I have to pay.

We only had one problem: no water for the whole weekend. We were only informed a day before our vacation about the water crisis, but I believe it was the whole area of Margate without water. Otherwise, Arabella is a beautiful place.
I was very surprised with the beautiful apartment. Everything was beautiful and clean. The apartment is spacious for a large family. The view of the ocean and lake was breathtaking. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely book Arabella 5 again.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to more holidays at Margate.
You cannot go to the beach on public holidays.

Lovely. Brilliant location. Apartment very well equipped. Everything one needs is there.
Nice to be able to hear the sea even if you are standing in the kitchen. Safe apartment with everything you could need. All that bothered is the neglected old Margate amusement park in front of the apartment. On weekends it gets quite noisy which is a bit annoying.
We definitely recommend Arabella No. 5! It was fantastic!

Absolutely the ideal location and atmosphere! Great view and close to everything that matters! In addition to all this, Arabella 5 is very private and quiet as we prefer it.
It really was a stunning stay, I think my only problem was not your fault - propably the municipality fault - there was so much rubbish at the entertainment area across the unit and it was there for our whole stay! Like I said - not your fault at all! We loved our stay at Arabella No 5.
A good place to go and relax. Safety will probably be beter after building is completed around Arabella
And its perfect for kids, but we would ask, please change the pillows - they weren't quite as comfy as they could have been.

In addition to the rates in the table above, this property also charges a once-off R600 admin fee per booking.
Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
Daily services are charged at R100 per day. This includes mopping the floors and bathrooms only.Strictly no rental of accommodation to persons under 21 unless accompanied by 2 adults.
A refundable breakage deposit is charged and will be refunded into guests' bank accounts within 10 days of receiving the breakage deposit form back if there are no losses or breakages.
All bookings must be fully paid in advance no less than 1 week prior to occupation.
50% of the total rental amount is to be paid upon reservation, and the balance to be paid directly to Zest Holidays 1 week prior to arrival. If the booking is made within 1 week of guests arrival then the full amount is due at the time of booking.
No extra guests allowed over and above the number of beds in the apartment. If extra guests are found in the units, eviction will take place.
No smoking is allowed inside units.
The volume of music and noise is to be kept to a reasonable level at all times.
None of the accommodation is suitable for guests who intend to play loud music, play boisterous and noisy games, or hold parties of any sort.
If a disturbance is caused that leads to guests and permanent tenants complaining, the Lessee may be evicted and will forfeit the rental paid.
Time of arrival is strictly 13:00.
Time of departure is strictly 10:00.
Strictly no pets allowed, eviction will take place if guests arrive with pets of any kind as this is in contravention of the Body Corporate rules.
