I had a wonderful time at this accommodation. The host was very friendly and not intrusive; we only saw him during check-in, and he respected our privacy. The house is beautifully decorated inside, with a variety of games for entertainment, especially for kids. They also ensure that you stay warm with heaters and extra blankets. The area is peaceful and safe. We had a wonderful stay.
Arch Cabins Self-catering was amazing. There was everything to keep everyone busy, from young to old. Thank you very much for the wonderful place.
Here you can sleep peacefully and the children will really enjoy it.
If you are planning to go to Tsitsikamma or in surrounding areas then this place is worth staying here.
Arch Cabins not only offer interesting accommodation, but the surroundings and village itself are wonderfully equipped to relax and enjoy yourself. Very nice sleepover.
The upstairs bathroom needed a good cleaning and to be swept out. The beds are not comfortable and very limited packing space for the number of people it can sleep. . Only 2 dishwasher tablets given for 4 day stay. Dishcloths were new - had not had first wash so the fluff came off on the dishes. No braai pan nor egg lifter. No instructions on how to set the alarm. Unit not serviced at all - not even rubbish bin nor braai cleaned out. No instructions as to whether the tap water could be drunk.
Not so nice. Good location, friendly owner and big space, but the place is run down. The pots and pans were dirty and burnt, the mattress was worn through, the white bedding was stained, the washing machine was rusted, the soap dishes in the shower are hanging on, only one of the sink plugs closes tightly, the bathroom and bedroom sliding doors are dirty with hand markings, and privacy is checked in because the back of the cabin is used by cleaners to do laundry.
We were 6 adults and 2 children celebrating my husband/father/grandfather's birthday together.
Arch Cabins is unique and very spacious. Great place for a family or group of friends.
The Arch Cabin Self-Catering has a very quirky vibe about it and well suited for surrounding areas. Fully equipped with all you might need for a getaway.
