We enjoyed our stay. It was a real farmhouse experience with breakfast and dinner included in our package. We enjoyed walking around the farm in the early evening and seeing the miniature horses and the goats and the pig. The unit we stayed in was rustic but just what we expected on a farm. That evening we sat on the lawn and enjoyed a sundowner. It would have been nice to have seen the mountains but there was a row of trees that were inconveniently in the way (on a neighbouring farm) but apparently, a little walk would have taken us to a viewing spot. The best thing was that everyone was so welcoming and warm. We enjoyed our meal that night (the soup was delicious!).
It is on a farm with a lot of animals.
It was nice to just sit down to meals that were deliciously prepared.

Clean, comfortable and peaceful accommodation.
Ardmore was very easy to find with the directions provided, the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and understanding from booking stage, all was excellent and the day before our holiday a friendly email reminder of our booking.
The room was generously spacious and well appointed with good quality linen and furniture. The farming countryside was pretty and the farm animals would be inviting to families with small children.

Ardmore will definitely need to pay more attention to maintenance and housekeeping! The aforementioned does not justify the price when we compare it to other places where we stay here in the Drakensberg. However, we cannot complain about their hospitality and food. We will certainly not refer family or friends to them.
It's a nice central place to stay, close to everything interesting. The staff are very friendly, and I especially want to say a big thank you to Neil and the two people at reception, they were extremely friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend your place to friends. Next time we will stay longer.

Nice place, quiet town.
The chalets are spacious, warm and perfectly comfortable. The food was homely, not inspired, but satisfactory.
They have the greatest customer service ever and their rooms were on point. Would love to visit there again with friends and the staff are well trained as well. Please keep up the good work! Can't wait to visit again.

Unfortunately, the drought has taken its toll on the scenery. Stay was very peaceful and facilities excellent.
I was looking for a place to go on a personal getaway and I found it at Ardmore. I just suggest that the rondavels be renovated a bit - especially the bathroom, but I love the place and its people. I will definitely go back again and tell others to go there. Lynette and her husband are great, warm and genuinely care...as are the rest of the staff, they treated me like one of their own!

Very friendly, excellent value for money, good place to be if you want to look around the Bergs. You can feel at home, and relax and refresh yourself. Good clean accommodation, very friendly staff, good food, good company.

Enjoyed our stay, felt very homely and nice and central to surrounding activities in the area.
Tranquil and scenic setting, relatively conveniently to activities/facilities, though access road a bit rough for family car - so drive very slowly. Accommodation quite comfortable, but "Doom" or insect repellant would have been useful. Meals were simple, but very nice (homely). On the whole, we had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return if circumstances permitted - surprised that we got a 2-storey cottage instead of a bungalow-styled one.
We stayed in the Mountain View Cottages which were well appointed, very cosy, and comfortable.
