The back garden, at night, with the lights shining on the succulents up into the koppie, is just so peaceful.
Very peaceful atmosphere!
The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and is very safe. Salamien is a very good hostess. The cottage has everything needed for self-catering and is nicely furnished. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again.
Very spacious, we are a family of 5 who pack a lot and everything quickly found a place without it being in the way. The owner felt like a friend I've known for years.

Lovely apartment. Super clean. Definitely one of the best places we've ever slept. Note that there is no wall/fence around the premises. There are beams around the apartment and it is a very safe area.
It wasn't bad but not the best either. The hot water would just suddenly go cold in the middle of your shower even after I had explained the issue to the host; the issue persisted. The gas tank is too small for the furnace heater. Also, it isn't suitable for two couples, maybe for one couple and older kids. The top floor is quite unsafe for young kids as my toddler could easily fall through the railing if I wasn't constantly watching her. It is also quite noisy if there are people awake downstairs while you are trying to sleep. Lastly, I wasn't able to contact the host ahead of arriving after multiple attempts as we were ahead of schedule. When we got there, she was a bit weird about us arriving slightly earlier as the place wasn't ready for us yet. It didn't feel like a very nice welcome.
Our host was very hospitable, showed me how everything worked. Place was clean and very homely.
