Arendsig is a beautiful venue, in orchards. Exceptional linen (this matters) and plenty of home comforts that made the stay perfect. The house is spacious and the enclosed braai room was perfect for the chilly evenings. Franzanne is very helpful — we loved our getaway and will definitely return.
Perfect place for a group with several couples and children who can spend the day together inside or outside. Quiet, well equipped, comfortable.
The owner, Franzanne, was so welcoming, warm and friendly. Ideally situated - close to wine farms and Montagu.
The old farmhouse is comfortably furnished with everything one could need (and more). Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Can go for a nice walk and swim in the river. There is also a small pool/hot tub. Owners very helpful and always reachable. Can highly recommend Arendsig Farmhouse!
The children enjoyed the swimming pool and the adults enjoyed the late-night visits in the braai room, a walk between the fruit orchards and the relaxation area next to the river. The nearby wine farms were also lovely to explore. The game goat also came to greet us. We will definitely visit there again.
We were a group of 6 who came to Bonnievale to play bowling. The house is nice and spacious and well equipped and very tidy. This was our second time there and will definitely use it again.

We had an amazing time here. The photos on the website do not do the house or surroundings justice. Everything was more beautiful and better than we expected. The house is spacious, beautiful and has everything you need (and more). We were lucky to see the farm at bloom time and the children had a great time playing and swimming in the warm splash pool. The owner and daughter-in-law, Franzanne, were hospitable and friendly. Van Loveren wine tasting is a must if you are in the area, with indescribably beautiful gardens and playground for children.
The farm house is very well equipped with some good mountain views. The splash pool is a welcome for the smaller kids.
It is a beautiful old farmhouse, surrounded by peach and plum plantations. Couldn't ask for a more peaceful environment.
The house is spacious and has a very well-equipped kitchen. The area is beautiful with lots to do for the whole family.
