We had a great time at Anita and Hendrik's.
It was wonderful to be able to sleep in such a neat, safe and peaceful B&B. The delicious breakfast is also not to be scorned at all. We will definitely stay there again, but only for a little longer than one day.
Argyll is easily accessible and in a peaceful setting. Facilities are excellent.

First impressions: Beautiful, neat, welcoming, safe. Room: Beautiful, stylish, very tidy, attention to the smallest detail, 2 comfortable armchairs, good lighting, always water in the fridge, WiFi, room cleaned every day. Garden: Large, beautifully maintained garden with springboks in a camp and climbing frames for the children, silver-clean and shiny swimming pool and lovely recreation area. Breakfast: Top notch, beautifully set tables and delicious food with a variety every morning. It was a privilege for us to be so spoiled by Anita and her husband. Anita is a wonderful hostess and she and her husband and their helpers have a winning recipe. They will definitely see us again.
Everything testifies to abundance of space, peace, tranquility and care. Everything has been thought of and you can just enjoy the treat.

Great overnight stay (2 nights). Room and bathroom were spacious, tidy and the bed was super comfortable! They made room for our teenage son and the Wi-Fi and Netflix were of course very popular, so in between our other outings. Even load shedding was not a problem, and the generator was up and running within minutes. Breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room at times that suited our daily routine. Nice chat with Anita (hostess) and enjoying the springboks in the back garden. Would definitely stay here again and not even bother contacting any other B&B. Thank you very much! Hope to see you again soon.

Anita is an amazing hostess. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. A wonderful farm atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was top notch. Looking forward to staying there again.
The hosts were very friendly and the rooms were also very comfortable. It was a treat to walk out of the room and be greeted by a lush green yard and the sight of Springbuck grazing at the end of the yard in a camp. I will definitely be returning there again when I visit the area.
Stopped at Argyll on the way through the Black Mountain Pass. Was a welcome relief after our day on the road. Spacious rooms, peaceful environment with animals around you and beautiful spring goats. Delicious breakfast with a wonderful hostess.

Wow! What a lovely stay experience! Full marks for everything. Exquisite, peaceful, welcoming, delicious breakfasts, lovely garden (spring goats as a bonus!) and many excellent facilities - that's how local travelers and especially foreigners should experience South African hospitality. Don't miss the Argyll accommodation. We can recommend it without any reservation!
We stayed over because we were visiting friends. The room was very comfortable and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. It will definitely be our first choice if we're ever in Oudtshoorn again.
Argyll B&B provides a lovely breakaway with a friendly host.
The owners are friendly and very accommodating with their space, as much as I was there to attend a funeral, my stay of 4 nights was made so easy. They would wake up and make sure my partner and family were well-fed at 6 am before we could leave and start our day. I don't think these are things other B&B's would be able to do. I'm glad we chose to stay here as it was close to home and town making it easy to move around. Will definitely be coming back.

Anita is friendly, helpful, and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant, we wanted to leave early the next morning and did not stay for breakfast, so she prepared a cold breakfast the previous evening for us to take with, which was very nice.
Keurig/fyn smaak, rustig, pragtige kamers, heerlikste ontbyt in pragtige rustige vertrek. Gasvrou verdien volpunte!
