We have 5 self-Catering units consisting of a double bed and bathroom with lounge area and kitchen. A fully equipped farm style kitchen in close proximity to the Lapa, offers a perfect setting, to meet fellow guests and friends.
Nestled between the mountains, bordering on the Crocodile river, Arotin Game Lodge prides itself with abundant Fauna and Flora with over 10 species of antelope, including Sable and Golden Wildebeest. There are over 100 different indigenous trees, a perfect setting for both nature and bird life enthusiasts.
Game Viewing and Breeding Program
We offer free daily game viewing safaris to resident guests around the reserve and into the mountains. The one hour drive also includes a visit to the Sable breeding camps during feeding time. A must see and don't forget your camera. R50 per adult, kids are free of charge.
Other Activities include hiking trails, bass fishing, archery (on our field range) and a swimming pool.

The staff at Arotin is so friendly and they made us feel at home. Steve checked on us several times to make sure we were at ease, encouraging us to take a walk to the resort park and dam.
We had a great time and rested. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Very nice and comfortable place. Roomy and can move easily. Lighting could be a little better - rooms are dark and you can't see well if you have vision problems. Would also recommend putting in candles and sconces or maybe other types of lighting for when the power goes out. Came in after 12:00 and the power was out due to storm. However, there were no flashlights or candles and firecrackers and had to knock people up for help - this while it was raining heavily outside. Roof in our room also leaked. Furthermore, the place is beautiful with animals - I believe if it doesn't rain it will be even nicer to spend the night there.

We enjoyed our weekend. The rooms were beautiful and modern and well-maintained. The fact that you can't prepare food in your room is the only downside, but there is a communal kitchen for 4 rooms. Excellent place for a family getaway if you want to book the entire lodge. Lorraine and the team were very helpful.

We were looking for a neat, peaceful place to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary and Arotin Lodge gave it to us. The people are conditionally very friendly. The resort is neat and very well furnished. They are also not far from the town, so you can quickly drive to go do something. The nature is breathtaking! We will definitely visit Arotin Lodge again!
Arotin is very close to British. Place to stay very nice and staples. Very peaceful and felt very safe.

We really enjoyed our stay ─ walking and seeing wildlife, catching bass ─ hanging out around the boma together. The game drives were educational. Owner and team were hospitable, the layout is beautiful, everything nice and clean.
