Our stay was very pleasant. We were allowed to check in very late at night after 22h00 due to the travelling and commitments in Upington, much appreciated. The family room was very clean, with clean linen and blankets provided in cold weather. A very quiet environment at night provided a peaceful sleep, and we felt very rejuvenated in the morning. I will definitely book again when visiting Upington.

We had a wonderful stay at Arquila. The house is conveniently located in a quiet area with secure parking. The room was spacious and there is a lovely stoep area outside to sit and chat with other guests. We did not make use of meals but the dining room was open for use of the deliciously cool water filter machine and kettle etc. The beds were big and comfortable and we slept great. I would definitely stay here again.

The guest house is very neat and the hostess is friendly and helpful. I booked online and specifically asked for the larger, more expensive room. Which I paid for in full at booking. We were specifically looking for more space. We got a smaller room which was cheaper. If I wanted that room I could have paid less for it from the start. Otherwise I can recommend the guest house.

Our hostess was friendly and quickly helped us arrange power for our car refrigerators. The courtyard sitting area was a big bonus, as was the pool, the hot water for coffee or ice cold water was a big treat. Thanks for the milk in the fridge. Each room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast and staff of excellent quality and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Arquila is a very nice place to stay. There is enough space and the rooms are comfortably furnished. Of course the pool is a great asset.
Arquila is an top notch guesthouse. Central A/C, Wi-Fi and a pool created a nice respite from long hot travel days. The owners were extremely accommodating of our changed travel plans. They made sure all needs were met. The house is in a quiet suburb, even though only 100 m from the N14 on its way out of Upington. As such, the location is prime!
My family and I (Mom, Dad, 4 and 8-year-old boys) were on our way to Namibia and stayed overnight in Up[Upington. Arquila's people went out of their way to help us find the place, check in and find our way around the guest house. The facilities are great and I would stay there again anytime. Thank you very much!
