Excellent. Happy with the rooms. Was concerned about the stairs as they are quite steep. The website should advise of the stairs. Would also have enjoyed a do-it-yourself mini breakfast, which could include yogurt, granola, toast, and jam. These are not items that go off. We had breakfast at one of the local establishments, and for 3 people, the bill came to R560, which I felt was excessive.
The "Garden room" is very neat and spacious with seating on the deck. Enjoyed our evening there.
Always nice to be greeted personally by Matthew. Our room was nicely situated with a lovely view from the patio. They just forgot to put the yogurts in the fridge for breakfast. We had the Muesli instead, but not enough milk for both of us. Just a minor error on their part.
Despite Haenertsburg being freezing cold, there was sherry in our room and the heater was on. We slept cuddly and warm!

Check in was easy and quick. Matthew met us and showed us around. There were fresh flowers from the garden, sherry and a continental breakfast and small fridge in the rooms. Very neat and clean. Will book again.
Only problem I found is that the Garden Room was just difficult for my husband to get into the room, he has bad back problems and the stairs are too high!

The guest house is ideally located in Haenertsburg and offers neat rooms for visitors or travelers. The rooms are tastefully furnished with everything you need. There is secure parking behind the house. The owner made contact before our arrival and was available the whole time.
Mattress no longer up to standard can definitely be replaced. No canopy or umbrella on the porch, it would be more convenient to get shade on the porch to spend more time in the fresh air with the beautiful view. Breakfast can be upgraded to eat in the dining room instead of in the bedroom as well as a wider variety of food.

This was our second time at Art Gallery, and we will stay there again next time. The rooms are beautiful, we even had our own fireplace. The place where one can eat breakfast is just as special, with the most delicious breakfast.
Excellent room, all the smaller details have been taken care of. Very nice room with breathtaking views. The village is brilliant and friendly with lots to do in the area. Waterfalls, hiking trails, ziplines, tubing, mountain biking and more.
