Our daughter has special needs and she finds it difficult to sleep in strange places. She was so peaceful and calm and slept soundly. Really nice stay. Reinette also gave her one of her paintings as a present. It was a lovely gesture that meant a lot to us. Would definitely recommend!

We were kindly received while the poor hostess was still trying to enjoy her lunch. However, this did not hinder her helpfulness. Nice, friendly and helpful. Apartment is painfully neat and clean. There is no TV, but it was quite welcome with 2 teenagers! We will definitely stay there again in the future.
This cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-equipped. I felt welcome and safe. At first, the lack of a TV concerned me as I was alone, but by the end of my week I was incredibly grateful because I was able to focus and achieve so much more than I would have done with the wasteful distraction, had it been there.

Artist's Attic is a nicely equipped self-catering unit. It's private and had all the necessities. The unit was clean and tidy. It's spacious and very comfortable for short and long visits. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The unit's equipment is suitable and meets all one's needs. The linen was fresh and the towels were soft. A wonderful experience.

Was just looking for a place to stay and this place was ideal and in a good area and close to all amenities. No TV but it was actually very nice to have some peace and quiet.
The unit is beautiful, located in a beautiful environment, the slopes live up to their name, the unit consists of a kitchen, living room on the ground floor and a room and bathroom on the upper floor, a pleasant destination, but if you have disabilities climbing stairs will present a challenge as the bathroom is on the top floor.
We had a really nice stay! Quiet place and very friendly people (and dogs). If you come with children, just bring an iPad or something to keep them busy, there is no room for running around outside, luckily we were out all day, they could only watch movies on the laptop in the evening. But otherwise we had a very nice stay, will do again!

My daughter and I stayed there for a week. It was very relaxing and the setting is lovely. We come from a farm, so we just had to get used to the street noises again. We never cooked there, but the kitchen is very well equipped. The decor is very artistic and everything you need is available. Would definitely highly recommend.

Our host received us after 21:00 on Friday night and made us feel at home quickly. Saturday morning came to find out about our well-being and we had a great chat. On Saturday afternoon he even brought freshly pickled lettuce from his own garden. Everything worked and was quiet (especially because there is no TV in unit). Will stay there again any time if we are in Nelspruit.

The area is peaceful and beautiful. When we arrived Josef greeted us warmly and was also very helpful to get our boy's bed in order and to make sure we were settled in. Coffee, tea, rusks, and cereal were provided in the ktichen. The cleaning lady did our laundry on Saturday, what a surprise. She also hanged it neatly on the dry rack. The only only issue was the we didn't have the key to the door that connects the main house from the unit. So it was a bit awkward we never knew when someone would walk into the unit. Note to management: The blinds in the main bedroom are very thin so difficult to fall a sleep if you are light sensitive or if you want to sleep late. The doggie was very cute and our boy played with it (he wanted to take him home!), but waking up at 06:00 the morning with his whimpering at the front door is not very enjoyable. Otherwise our stay at Artist's Attic was very nice and we will definitely be back. You are friendly and hospitable and we felt at home! Thanks again Josef and Riette for sharing this beautiful place with us.
Very pretty and ideal for what we wanted. The bedroom is great but the day bed in the lounge area was not that comfortable for a person of my age.
