Nice except shower head that needs to be replaced. You have to hold with your hand.
Stay very good and very tidy. Can attend to kitchen equipment (pots, pans, utensils etc. that are missing). Clean water is a problem. WiFi a problem, very weak. For such an expensive price per night, they can provide wood for a barbecue area.
Arukah met all our expectations and more. We will definitely visit there!

It's peaceful and has Christian books on display. We want to thank the hostess that made us comfortable.
The stay at Arukah was good. The house(s) was clean and spacious. There was adequate parking, and the peaceful surroundings with the cows and chickens added a nice touch. We were informed that the pool was not open to use, but the owner did make an exception for us. We did not use the facility, though, as the pool was not completely clean. Overall, we had a good stay, and the host was good, accessible, and responsive.

However, we had a lot of trouble with hot water for the shower. A bit frustrating. If they could put a "toaster" in the kitchen it would be nice.
Arukah shows potential as guest accommodation. There were some problems though. Some of the cutlery and plates were not clean, and the beds were not all made for the amount of people who had to sleep.
Ensure one of the best choices for accommodation in Riversdal. The most peaceful atmosphere on the farm. The apartment is clean and tidy and very modern but with a homely atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.
It looks exactly like the pictures. The master bedroom is beautiful. It was safe enough for my daughter to go jogging. We had a barbecue and there was everything we needed. Delicious biscuits were served with the coffee/tea. Was even able to buy a few Christmas presents among the interesting things on display. Thank you Therisa, it was a nice visit.

Beautiful house, I liked the Christian items for sale. Have fun browsing around. Really a beautiful place and wonderfully spacious.
Arukah is off grid, no load shedding. Enjoyed the experience of what can be done RE electricity. Big bonus for me, railway line next door with trains! TV set up but we did not use it. Useful to advise that you must just use your own subscription pin, if one wants to use the TV. Will be back.

We had a great time. Will definitely recommend. Delicious farm experience with the cattle and greenery around you. It is a very nice self-catering unit, but the kitchenware can only be supplemented a little to make it more practical for self-catering, such as storage bins and a braai etc.
The only problem is that there is no cup or jug, not even a cup to heat milk with in the microwave. There was also no coffee and sugar which is normally in a guest house, just some tea and a small bottle of powdered milk. Everything was empty or the little coffee was hard. Otherwise we are very satisfied with the stay and will visit again. The lady, Edel, who received us, is a very friendly and pleasant person.
Piece by piece was very neat and well furnished.

It is such a beautiful place with a lot of style and makes you feel right at home. The beds were so soft and the view over the mountains a feast.
We really enjoyed just switching off from our busy lives, so much more that we slept well for the occasion we visited Riversdal for, thanks again Arukah. Arukah is great!
