Asher's In The Strand is a self-catering holiday house and is situated just 1 block away from the Strand's Golden Mile beach, offering a leisurely stroll to the pristine waters of one of the Western Cape's safest, and cleanest beaches. The house is set up to enable large, close-knit groups of family and friends to spend the holidays together. The house is also pet-friendly. Please ask for the pet policy before confirming your booking.

There are 2 double sleeper couches provided in the living space, suitable for children.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is also a laundry. The dining area has seating space for 12 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flat-screen Smart TV with uncapped WiFi internet and Netflix Premium package.
There is an indoor fireplace and an outdoor braai with Veranda, a BRAND NEW SWIMMING POOL!!!, a spacious front yard with tree house, climbing rope, sandpit, a basket ball hoop and swing, and lots of room for kids and pets to play. Parking space for up to 5 cars available. A high boundary wall, alarm system and CCTV surveillance on the outside of house to make the house secure and very private.

Fantastic stay! It's just a stone's throw from the beach, so I recommend early morning and late afternoon walks. The house has everything you need and then some. The host was most helpful as well. We would definitely come back.

Second stay at this house and it doesn't disappoint. Great place for adults as well as young kids. There is lots of space for the little ones with a sand pit and treehouse with a swing. Decent size swimming pool and braai area.

In my honest opinion, the weather was pretty bad last weekend, but the beds were not up to scratch. We expected more luxury for the price we paid. They can definitely upgrade the rooms. The place is quite secure, and I am sure we would have had a better time at the pool if the weather had been better. It's a very quiet neighbourhood and close to amenities and the beach as well, so I would still recommend going there, but they need to upgrade the beds.

The house was suitable for our family, very comfortable and convenient, and we felt at home.
Clinton is so friendly and helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped with awesome pots and pans. There is even a washing machine and washing powder. It is within walking distance from the beach. We walked to the beach often. My youngest enjoyed the sandpit and tree house very much. We were 8 adults and 4 kids, and there was enough space for all 12 of us. There is a great-sized TV with access to DSTV and Netflix. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets available. The WiFi was fast and stable. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely visit again. You will not go wrong choosing this accommodation. (To enhance the experience even further, you can look into the water pressure in the shower and softer pillows. The carpet in the main bedroom wasn't rolled out.)

We were there with our Staffies and it was very comfortable and they had space to play and very safe with property that has walls all around. Just a few steps to the beach where we could have a nice walk with them. Well worth it and would stay there again.

Asher's in the Strand has everything a self-catering house should have. The place was immaculately clean upon arrival. The house is stylish and full of decor. The children really enjoyed the pool and tree house. Although it was raining, at least we could get to the sea which is walking distance.
It was a lovely staycation getaway for the school holidays in winter. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace. I'm sure in Summer it would be even better as it has a swimming pool, close to shops and walking distance to the beach.

There was no Wi-Fi. Beds are old and uncomfortable. The owners think it's their own house and you cannot just be at home and enjoy yourself there.

My family and I had an amazing 4 days at Asher's In The Strand as the kids where accommodated. We were wonderfully welcomed and the house looks amazing. We had everything available to us and our hosts gladly assisted in everything we wanted. I would recommend it especially if you are a big family with kids.

We were looking for a big enough place to stay for about 8 adults. Asher's was available. The house was big enough, extremely tidy, very well furnished and perfectly located for our purposes of the trip. Asher's sleeps 8 with additional sofa beds in the TV room. The kitchen and bathrooms were excellently equipped with everything and anything else. There were even facilities for barbecuing and hanging out outside. The house was painfully neat. Sufficient security measures have been installed (gate access control, alarm and high walls). A very pleasant experience indeed. The only points for improvement that I can mention: some of the furniture was already a bit outdated (couch in TV room collapsed), sofa beds not comfortable for large adults to sleep on, and it would really be a lovely addition to the value of the property be if there was a pool available.

- A set of hand towels provided for each bathroom

- The guest/s and all occupants occupy the property at his or her own risk. In the event of an accident or any injury, neither the owner nor the letting agent shall be held responsible for any loss of whatsoever nature incurred by the guest/s or any other occupants occupying the property. The guest/s and any other occupants further exempt the owner and letting agent from any such claims that may arise against him/her as a result thereof.
