4 guests' feedbackWe were pleasantly surprised. The photos do not do the beautiful place justice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Each room leads to a small veranda with lush green lawns.
The room was very neat and as in the photos. Dinner and breakfast were very nice and the staff were very friendly and service was good. Only small issue was the geyser not having enough hot water for the spa bath, we sort of solved that with a few kettles of hot water. I hope it was just a "once-off" mistake that has now been sorted out, had a nice shower next morning.
Breakfast for second person in room is not included. Rooms are not soundproof and noise from outside in corridors is very disturbing. Definitely not value for money.
Ashwood Guesthouse and Spa's staff, from the security guard throughout to the lady who services your room, was very friendly and professional. There was always a friendly face and it made us feel very much at home. The guest house is very central and less than 5 minutes away from the nearest shopping center and yet it is located in an area that is nice and quiet, you almost feel like you are on the farm. The beds were especially great, it felt like you were sleeping on a brand new bed. And their breakfast was just as delicious with the Chef who comes to hear what you want to eat. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Bloemfontein.
