Excellent stay with great food. We liked that there was a games room for entertainment.
Friendly and neat.
It was a pleasant surprise to experience such a friendly, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere on our trip up north. From our arrival, where we were very kindly received, to our departure, the staff were always very helpful to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant that served our meal can compete with the best. Many thanks to everyone at Assegaaibosch.
Unexpected, extra costs. Reception not very friendly.
Neat and clean. Very comfortable would stay there again.
I enjoyed the quiet of the manor house, with a full day's driving ahead the next day. The only suggestion is that at least one of the windows per bedroom is furnished with some sort of guard to keep the monkeys out. Sleeping with all the windows closed is not ideal.
We had a great time sitting and hanging out in the outdoor area by the pool while it wasn't so cold, it was very neat there and the door from the rooms to the pool area is a big plus and very nice. The dinner was very tasty and the service excellent and very friendly. We also slept great. Thank you very much.
Great location for the work I was involved in with stunning views of the mountains, great mountain biking and hiking trails in the area and typical Karoo hospitality when it comes to the meals and quantities for each serving.
Although not completely wheelchair friendly, management went out of their way to accommodate us and make it as convenient as possible. We will definitely stay there again.
Kan aanbeveel. Hoë standaard. Vriendelike personeel. Kos was baie lekker. Kamers baie netjies.
At the place you become calm. The rooms are large and modern. Food is very tasty and staff very friendly. Here you can just relax.
We enjoyed our getaway, the peace and quietness!
See stars.
Wonderful, relaxing accommodation in a beautiful area. Decent activities available.
The forest path was fantastic for a walk or trail run. Lots of things for kids to do (swim, play).
The facilities need attention. A little more attention should be given to the swimming pool's appearance and amenities that have already been weathered.
Top notch hospitality. Food was fantastic, as was the stay there. We will definitely stay there again.
Upon our arrival, Frans went out of his way to meet our needs.
Assegaaibosch is set in a beautiful part of our country. Forest, streams, fresh air, great staff and all you need to rest and relax on site! Thank you!
The manager made an effort to make visit as pleasant as possible. I will make an effort to go again.
We were received very kindly. The stay at Assegaaibosh exceeded our expectations. Great clean rooms. Pleasant ambiance and a delicious breakfast
We were kindly welcomed by Fritz at reception. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Beautiful location, and will spend the night at Assegaaibosch again.
