Parking is also a problem. Photos are as on the internet, except room 2. There are no photos of this room on the internet. And my room certainly didn't look like room 3 I booked.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and everything you wished to have in a room was there, tea facilities, TV, soap etc. The only negative thing we noticed was that there was DSTV but we couldn't view the channels. We used to view like Mzanzi 161. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared.

The hospitality, nice chats with the owner and the delicious breakfast served by her husband were a highlight! I have visited many guesthouses and At Olive certainly stands out! Thank you very much. See you again next year for sure! Our hostess was extremely hospitable! It is conveniently close to the stadium in Sasolburg. Sleeping facilities were truly a delightful experience and extremely tidy. See me again for sure!
The accommodation was adequate for a few days. The breakfast was very good and the host was friendly and helpful.
We went looking for another place to stay as the rooms are extremely small. We booked for three days and then at least one expects when you advertise spacious rooms, that the rooms will be really spacious. The one room had a smell that burns one's nose. Maybe old smoke? The parking is also very tight.

Parking just a little short and the lower rooms are not really private with dining room outside the door. Other than that, no complaints!

The hostess and her chef are particularly pleasant people, you feel as if you are at home with friends.
My wife and I stayed there for three nights. The first night we were in a very nice room equipped with air conditioning, its own fridge and cutlery corner. However, the second and third night we had to move to another room (we booked a bit late and that's what was available at the time) which was not quite as comfortable as the first room. It was very hot, without any air conditioning and also did not have its own fridge and cutlery. Apart from this, our time here was very nice. It was probably the friendliest service I have received at a guest house in a long time, really great.
The reception was very friendly, the rooms comfortable, clean and tidy and the breakfast delicious.
At Olive guest house has everything one needs to have a comfortable stay. We stayed just to be able to sleep in the Vaal area after going on a Vaal sunset cruise, it is perfect for that kind of thing. Breakfast was ready-made with bacon on the eggs and meat, I don't eat bacon nor do I eat red meat, so would have been nice to have been asked what I'd like for breakfast, but other than that everything was okay!
