Will definitely stay there again.
The place was very neat and clean. Although there were other guests it was very quiet and no one disturbed us. We really had a pleasant time and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Guests make you feel at home and accommodation is neat and clean.

Very nice place, beautiful area and pleasant hostess. All criticism I have is that the braai facilities just weren't too good. There were no braai tongs and the braai brush had already been used. An aircon wouldn't hurt either. I understand that it uses a lot of power, but in such heat it is necessary.
Loved the stay! Was definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for cheap accommodation near Hoedspruit.
We stayed over one night before going to the KNP the next day, and it was everything we needed. A comfortable bed, and a clean and neat little place, would definitely recommend it for anyone stopping over in Hoedspruit.
Only stayed one night. Place is very neat and clean. However, very small if a longer period is to be left.
Beautiful, clean environment.
This was perfect for our overnight stay and very comfortable. For a longer stay self catering may prove difficult as the kitchenette is very small and just has a microwave. However, shops and restaurants are very close by making eating out easy. The setting in the wildlife estate is beautiful and the whole family enjoyed an early morning run within the estate.
If I can give one advice, maybe just look at the lighting in the room, if someone wants to read the light by the bed is very weak.

Good place to stay to explore the area.
We stayed 3 days and it was very good and in wildlife setting with deer and Zebra and Warthogs.
The room was clean and comfortable. With the fridge, microwave, kettle and braai we could self cater but a work surface or table to prepare food would be great.

Annelie's place is very neat. The animals just walked past us where we were sitting on the porch. It is so peaceful there and I recommend it.
Only negative experiences: Mattresses could be of better quality, toilet in bathroom very uncomfortable, and covered parking a requirement, vehicles soaking wet in the morning.
Would have liked to have air conditioner in the room for the tremendous heat.
I just think for the price there should at least be DSTV and a bar of soap in the shower.
Our hostess personally welcomed us. Beautiful, clean room with the most delicious treats on the bed, in the fridge. We would go back to At Rest any time. Highly recommended.

The rooms are in a wildlife estate, which is very well guarded and therefore very safe. Beautiful roads and a very beautiful environment. Reception by owner friendly. Near shops and restaurants. The estate is located at the end of a road, which is opposite the Total-service station. As soon as you arrive at the room you see on the outside and the inside that the motto was when building to invest as little as possible! The device does not agree with each other at all, but seems to be the result of a thrift store. Bed is of moderate quality. On the ceiling a fan, which gives hardly any cooling. In addition, a loose fan that does well. Faucet sink was loose and the same applies to the toilet seat. Hardly any storage space for clothes, only a rack to hang clothes. Inside is a chair from grandmother's time, a plastic chair and a stool for an old dressing table. Outside a table and 4 plastic chairs with a separate cushion. Very unfortunate that a decent investment has not been made to create good quality rooms. Now it is summarised: a mess!
