Friendly, special people.
Without any contradiction the best of this type of accommodation we have come across. Owner particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast from the upper figures.
Place was clean, bed slept well and the electric blanket and aircon definitely helped to drive away the winter cold.
We spent the night on our way to Katberg. Als was in order and the room where we slept was nice and spacious and very neat! I would recommend them anytime!

We were greeted with a very friendly lady. We immediately felt at home. The room was clean and tidy, the surroundings were beautiful, we slept well and ate well.

Just booked this place to sleep. But we couldn't leave any of the windows open to let in some fresh air - no blurglar bars infront of the windows so we didn't feel safe. The peacock on the farm yard woke us at 04:30 right infront of our room. We weren't very happy about that. The duvet on the bed has 3 holes in the cover, not acceptable for a 4 star place. Delicious meals and friendly host.
Relaxing place outside Aliwal North if you want to explore the surrounding during the day. Options to Eastern Cape and Free State. Start day with breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom.
