Very nice stay and the atmosphere was amazing with the river there. Would definitely recommend as a great place to break away from the city.
River Guesethouse was everything we expected and saw in the photos. Next time we will definitely have a barbecue on the river bank and do some fishing.
Everything was tidy and the hostess very friendly. TV worked well and biscuits delicious. Just missed a shower cap!
The rooms are neat, clean, comfortable and have everything you need. View is very good. Quiet and private.

My teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the friendly dogs and had the privilege of holding a little hanslam and also going for a leisurely ride on the river at sunset. There is a braai deck opposite the river and we are provided with delicious quality braai wood. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioner was already set for us to sleep comfortably. The perfect place to sleep over if you are traveling and just want to be a little human again after hours in the car. Pleasant hostess and host. They made us feel very welcome and pampered.
Will stay there again, had a good braai and looked out over the river and relaxed.

I stayed here for a weekend. Everything needed for self-catering was there. The air conditioner is a bonus. The WiFi works great! Convenient layout. Beautiful view. Some of the neighbors unfortunately think they have to doof-doof in the background all weekend. Otherwise, it is very quiet next to the springboks. I even saw a ibex ram!
Nice beds and comforts. But unfortunately for my taste the units are too close to one another and you can hear your neighbors when you are snuggling in. Soundproofing would have been great. All in all the units offer good comfort HD TV and a great shower. What is a worry is possible injury hazard walking to the deck. The holes dug are deep and you need to be careful.
Plekkie is next to the river and had a really nice stay. Service was great!

• Only residing guests are allowed to sleep over. Unbooked guests may be asked to leave at the owner's discretion. A penalty of 100% of the overnight fee will be charged if this is ignored.
• Guests must behave in a manner conducive to the safety, peace and comfort of other guests. Making loud noise is not acceptable. The manager reserves the right to evict anyone misbehaving with immediate effect.
• Air conditioners, televisions and lights should be switched off if the room is not occupied.
• Arrival time: After 14h00
• Departure time: Before 10am. If rooms are not vacant by check-out time, guests will be charged for an additional day.
• Breakfast is served between 7am and 8: 30 am. It is not included in the accommodation fee and must be booked in advance
• Dinner can be provided on request. Not included in the accommodation fee.
• Washing of clothes can be arranged at an additional cost
• Please remember to hand in keys on departure. Failure to do so will result in a replacement cost penalty.
• Use of electrical appliances other than those supplied in the room is subject to permission being obtained from the manager
• Please note that cleaning and gardening staff will not accept instructions from guests. Please contact the owners / manager.
• The owner/management is not liable for any damages, theft or injury.
• Parking for vehicles is at your own risk.
