21 guests' feedbackGreat for a base to explore Marloth Park. Comfortable, well equipped, fans and AC, seating outside, pool and has privacy. Close to shops and a restaurant/pub. Animals came past and it was amazing to be so close. WiFi password not clear and hard to get right.
Really enjoyed! Would definitely recommend! I think they may just need to buy new mattresses. The mattress springs dug into our backs, so when it was time to sleep, it was a bit uncomfortable. The WiFi didn't work either; we used our own WiFi.
Great stay, friendly service and the hostess was very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely return.

Athule had been a cozy and quiet place. We as a family really enjoyed it. Wildlife visiting your front porch makes it exciting.
Wow! Super impressed. Would give 10 out of 5 if I could. Beautiful place, clean, private, exceeded all expectations. All amenities of a 4 to 5 star place. Reception and service were friendly, professional and they went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The beautiful wildlife that comes to say hello to your porch while you drink coffee or hang out is a wonderful bonus. With everything at your disposal in the place, the owners really go the extra mile to make sure you don't lack for anything. Highly recommended, and would stay here again anytime.
Place was peaceful. Possesses all necessary amenities. Pool was fantastic, each place has its own private pool.

Although the place is small, it was a nice stay and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. We had a nice rest and the splash pool was a plus as it was warm.

Elmar is an absolute asset to the facility. There was a problem on the Eskom line, but the facility was equipped with solar and generators, so it did not cause any disruption. Elmar is friendly and helpful and came regularly to make sure we didn't need anything. The place is nice and tidy and well furnished. The place is located close to the shop and restaurants. The single beds in the loft do need to be replaced.
Thank you very much for beautiful clean places in which we could relax. The bedding and the house smell deliciously fresh and everything was clean and tidy. The help was there every day to help and hear if we needed help. Thank you very much, we will definitely book again.
We will certainly recommend Athule to friends and would like to visit again with friends for a weekend. Nice and quiet and relaxing.
Place is very neat and clean. The private pool is great. Everything one needs is there. It's walking distance from the shops. Paul the caretaker who received us is absolutely wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. I can really recommend the place.
We had a wonderful stay, the cottages are comfortable and well equipped. Generator that automatically turns on during load shedding is a winner. Conveniently close to Crocodile Bridge entrance where we had to check in the next morning.
Was enjoyable in all ways, especially because the host is ever helpful and friendly.
Very pleasant experience. Units have all the basic necessities. The caretaker received us kindly and looked after us carefully during our stay. The one unit's air conditioner did not work, but this was quickly sorted out. Wildlife abounds around the units.
Will definitely visit Athule again.
