28 guests' feedbackEverything to do with our stay at this beautiful house was a pleasure, from the initial communication after we made the booking, to questions being answered promptly. Then, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how huge and spacious the home is. The furnishings are great, it has a very beachy feel. Very nice pool and yard area, and literally less than two minutes walk to the beach. We will definitely come again.
The recommendation would be a yes, and a no. There is so much that is good and wonderful about this house. The one thing that truly was not good is the noise levels and creaking floor between the top and the bottom floor. I wish it weren't so, as I'd be back in a heartbeat were it not for this. Half of us slept in the bottom rooms and had very interrupted sleep. The creaking of the floors with any movement upstairs is so amplified that you cannot sleep through it. It's sadly not restful for those sleeping at the bottom, and stressful for those sleeping on the top floor because half of the household is not getting a good night's rest, something you certainly hope for when going on holiday. I ended up sleeping on the couch, and my husband almost went to sleep in the car. Our recommendation would be insulation between the top and bottom floors to negate this. I would like to add that the service was excellent when the gas ran out, and we were helped almost immediately. Thank you.

It ia a very beautiful house however stairs wqas broken son almost fell through also stove was gave stove and gas was up we had no signal no wifi we had to wait few hours before the guy actuly came to fix it and the guys cme to fix the stairs wch is sucha inconvience as we were on holidy wth my dad thats sick so we just wanted to spnd tme wth hm n nt wprry abt ppl thts der to fox thngs.

It is like being in a small town away from everything, we walked up the road and bought freshly baked croissants for breakfast and swam in the sea at sunset - bliss.
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Atlantic Beachfront Villa is a go-to location for people who want peace of mind.
Scarborough is a lovely area, easy trip from Cape Town, but away from it all.
The house is comfortable and close to the swimming beach. Well equipped but maintenance needs some attention. Good communication from the owner during our stay. Thanks John.
All the beauty of the house was that it was close to the sea, but the beds were very uncomfortable. We and our friends did not sleep well and the house looks like it needs a little more maintenance. Friends downstairs could not sleep because of the people who hang out upstairs and walk all the time because the floor is noisy. I suggest people who go to bed late should just sleep downstairs and socialize downstairs. Curtain in one room was broken when we got there so the neighbours' lights were constantly shining into the room. The upstairs bathroom was leaking into the downstairs room and some of the lights in the house were not working. The power tripped and we couldn't locate the DB board, only after a long search in the dark we found it behind a painting. The neighbors next door's sons kept kicking the ball in the street and kicked the ball at our cars. The one boy was later inside our garden to get his ball without us knowing. Almost scared me when I saw the boy in the woods. Later had to sternly address them to stop playing in the street, none of them even apologised. Unfortunately, Atlantic Dream does not see us again in the future.
Everything we need was in the house. We had a wonderful stay and everything in the house was clean.
We want to thank the owner John of Atlantic Dream Beachfront Villa for his kindness. Nothing was ever too much to make us feel comfortable and right at home. My family and I had an absolute amazing time, the villa is beautiful, it's spacious and caters to all your holiday needs! It is clean and very well decorated. The beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies. We could hear the ocean clearly, especially at night time. It is well located and we felt safe at all times. We loved the entertainment area where we spent hours playing pool, table tennis and darts! We definitely recommend this stay to other people and we will go back in the summer time.
Came on a surf holiday with a group of friends and got more than we could have hoped for. Beautiful beaches all around and a house that had it all. Cant wait to come back.
We had an amazing stay, John was very accommodating. The house is beautiful, kids enjoyed the games room, looking for tranquility that's the place to go, would definitely recommend it to anyone.
We were also able to take our two dogs with us, with no place for them to leave the yard which made me feel comfortable all weekend. They, like us, enjoyed the big space to the fullest.
We used the venue for team building and workshops. Worked incredibly well. Super well equipped. Immaculate. Communication from the owner was swift and clear. We will be back!
We really enjoyed it! It was nice and quiet.
The house is very well equipped and there are many things to do at the house if the weather outside or on the beach is unpleasant. My children raved about the table tennis, pool table and darts. It was very cold, but all the rooms have heaters and the built-in fireplace makes the main living areas very nice and warm. The lightning fast WiFi was also a winner, because I had to work in between and the kids could watch movies on their phones and tablets.

John is an absolute dream to liaise with, the villa has everything you need you basically only need to take your food, clothes and fire wood to braai. It is really a must to visit and stay at.
The only issue I had was that 10:00 in the morning is a bit early to book out.
It's beautiful, close to the beach and we had a fantastic time.
We were with our family, 8 people, in the villa. Very spacious, the rooms (each room had its own bathroom), the lounge, has a terrace upstairs. Easy chairs and sunbeds. Also a lot of space downstairs, another terrace with dining set, a garden next to the swimming pool, where you could lie on the grass, with some shade as well. Nice games room with darts game and pool table etc. Very suitable for one group/family. Well how outdated, certainly the kitchen. Location close to the beach, not really suitable for swimming and sunbathing, but for walking around. Also a few restaurants and a shop nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Well, how far from Cape Town. We were very happy with Salie, the manager. He made sure that everything was tidy again when we came back. He took care of the pool, he solved a problem with the shower the same day. Top!
We had a wonderful winter stay at Atlantic Dream. Everything was in good working order and the house was tastefully decorated. The kids were kept busy in the games room, our dog enjoyed long walks on the beach and we explored the hiking trails in the vicinity and relaxed in the winter sun on the lovely wooden deck. It was amazing to see the stars so bright at night, possibly because there were no streetlamps. I think it is a lovely seaside village, unpretentious and down to earth. An extra bonus was the availability of daily service, which will be especially helpful with a bigger group and in summer. We would like to visit Atlantic Dream in summer time as well.
