Atlantic Loft has a king bed and not just two beds pushed together. The bathroom is very spacious. An extra bonus was the deck of cards and other board games in the bedroom! Table Mountain and the sea are visible from the balcony, which is connected to the bedroom by fully sliding glass doors.
The owner went out of his way to accommodate us, the unit is beautiful, clean and well equipped.
Everything you could possibly need was available. Sorry we broke your bed's base which was immediately replaced with a new one. Beautiful sea view. Will visit again.

The photo above is not of the unit ─ I suspect it is of the unit right next door. It had been a rainy weekend which greatly affects our experience and evaluation! We had to spend most of the time inside the compact unit. The unit is not a brick structure, but was nevertheless storm-weather resistant. The view helped a lot to not feel trapped in the rainy weather. The WiFi was good, but the DStv is limited to a few channels. Good sunshine destination.

Was an amazing experience.
The studio was clean, but not as tidy as one would expect from self-catering units. The blind was very dirty. The shower was also not very tidy, could have been scrubbed clean. The impression is that there was no sort of inspection of the place after it was sort of cleaned.

We only stayed one night and it was too short! We had a great stay at Atlantic Loft in the "Studio", we had everything we could possibly need. We were warmly received by Mike, that we felt at home straight away. We will stay there again if we are in the Melkbos area and can recommend it to anyone who wants to hear the sound of the sea and have a nice stay.
The loft is romantic, and offers the most beautiful view of the mountain and the sea on Melkbosstrand. The unit is modern with everything you need, bed is very comfortable and everything is ready for a romantic evening for two. Bathroom is beautiful with lots of space and a large bath. The owner went out of his way to make a person feel special. All the little things he provided were from coffee, tea and sugar, and even milk. To shampoo, conditioner and all the little things that a person normally forgets at home. It was really a home from home but just much more special and an amazing view.

The clever use of space was impressive in the place. The decor is exquisite and everything was clean, except for a few crumbs on the kitchen counter. I would suggest that the fence by the stairs might be looked at a bit - the gaps between the posts could be a problem, especially if there were smaller children sleeping over.

When you first step onto the premises, you feel the calm atmosphere that has been created in the beautifully laid out garden. The loft is perfectly laid out, from where you walk into the small kitchen, where everything is so well laid out, that you don't even notice that you are not standing in a massive kitchen. Everything is at hand and perfect for two people. Then you walk upstairs and a beautiful bedroom welcomes you. It is so romantically laid out. The bathroom is an oasis for any person. Lovely provision has been made for suitcases and unpacking of clothes is facilitated. Everything is just beautiful and I didn't even notice I wasn't in my big house. Outside you look out over the beautiful sea, with sunsets that cannot even be captured in photos! Table Mountain lying in the background is just the cherry on the cake. One can just sit for hours and look over the beauty that surrounds you. The owner and his wife are fantastic, friendly people and made our wedding anniversary so special by making all the arrangements for us for a lovely, romantic picnic with the most incredible food and champagne that didn't cost an arm and a leg. didn't cost I will definitely return to the lovely place again. Trust me, I've had my fingers badly burned a few times with places that advertise something they're not, but I can honestly say that anyone who comes and stays here won't regret it. You really get more than you pay for!

The unit was neat and clean. The coffee and biscuits were our salvation on the late arrival. Sea view from the porch with the sound of the waves clear in your ears. I will stay there again without a doubt. Maybe just a suggestion. I know space is limited but maybe just a shelf or something like that for your suitcase.

Everything you need for even a 2nd to 3rd night is available, with a nearby center for any emergency supplies. Would highly recommend, and would stay there again. Unfortunately only visited for 1 cold late autumn evening as an overnight stay, arrived late and had to leave early. Was upgraded to the larger unit. Beautiful but bedroom was very cold due to large sliding door and concrete floor. There is a gas heater but didn't see until next morning. Larger blanket or ideally electric blanket would be welcome. Although clean, the area behind the bedside tables was full of dust which caused me to get bad sinuses. Think the place is ideal for summer vacation.

It makes you feel like you are on honeymoon again. The decor is beautiful, the view over the sea breathtaking. Als was available, especially for a person flying in. There was coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, plus everything you need in the bathroom. No reason to get to a store your first night.
There are no words to describe how it feels to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of waves. Not to mention the beautiful seat with the picturesque view of the ocean and sunset. Taking in and appreciating all of this while sitting and sipping a delicious red wine with your partner cannot describe the experience. You simply have to experience it. Breathtakingly over. For me it was incredible to be able to be there, it was nice to be able to relax while looking out at the beautiful sea view. In the morning it's the waves that wake you up and the smell of the nice sea water, it's just something different.

The essential no 1 important thing is a comfy bed and that was the case at Atlantic. It is also has everything you do or may need. They do not skimp on anything. Friendly flexible and obliging.

Atlantic Loft is not suitable for older people. It is difficult to get from the parking area to the unit, steep. Then you have to climb steep stairs tot the bedroom which can be dangerous for senior citizens. For younger, fit people it could possibly be ideal accommodation. Tastefully decorated with stunning sea and mountain views.
