Accommodation is spacious. Bathroom is very small. Parking becomes a problem on premises with large vehicles and the amount of vehicles.
The place is located in a good area and is highly recommended.

Had a good stay - there was just a construction site nearby. Couldn't sit outside in the courtyard during the day because the noise and sand. This is out of the owners control and apparently only a temporary problem, but it was troublesome.
Convenient location for our needs. Felt safe and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Check-in and check-out was seamless.
My stay was quiet and peaceful, and the concierge gave me all the information on where I can go and order food. The room was clean, and I really enjoyed all the Netflix and fun films to watch. I definitely rate Authentic Newlands a 10/10.

They were very kind to let us park 2 cars inside the premises as there is actually not enough parking. We were greeted friendly and felt welcome.
There is a notice in the rooms that the guests must wash up the cups an dishes that tthey used. There is not washing up facilities, had to wash the coffee cups in bathroom basin. Bedding did not look very fresh. The wifi did not work, would not connect.
Had a very pleasant stay, Authentic Newlands is within walking distance from Cavendish Square with a wide selection of restaurants and shopping centres.

My unit had a lot of space and even my own outside courtyard! Everything else I needed for my stay. Friendly host. Loved that they have Netflix instead of the usual DSTV rubbish! Surprisingly quiet, even though it's quite close to the main road. I didn't hear traffic at all. Safe inside parking too. WiFi lasted through loadshedding.

Authentic Newlands is very central to Newlands Cricket Grounds. The room was very clean and tidy. Owner and staff are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Extra lights and loadshedding schedule has been passed on to us.

Pleasant hostess who shows a lot of interest in my participation in the Two Oceans marathon. The unit is fully equipped, there is absolutely nothing missing. The safe parking is certainly a bonus.
We felt safe and there was secure parking for our car. The street in front is on the busy side, but it became quieter later. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Instructions about how to get to the place were not accurate.
Unit 2's bathroom is so neat that you have to open the door to get dressed. Shower head too low for the average male height. Cold tap has no pressure and only hot water comes out. The 5 small milkshakes that were provided in the fridge were sour. Expiration date 27.6.2021.
Only stayed overnight, perfect for what we needed. Close to the airport with easy access.
Close to Cavendish Square, can walk their in 5 min. Safe, secure off street parking and considering how close to the main road you are, it was quiet. Lots of room in cottage 1 with a cute private courtyard at the back. Will book again when visiting CPT.

Just a few suggestions - the water pressure in the bathroom needs attention (basin) and the shower head is too low - I had to stoop. Would be great to have coffee.
The accommodation is spacious and well furnished. Access was comfortable. Spacious enough for the 3 adults and a fourth person would not have made any packing on the comfort either. Confirmation was quick and arrangements without any problems. We will definitely use this accommodation again.
One negative is that there is no DStv for sports. I'm not a movie person, so Netflix offers no options.
Friendly hosts and close to the mall to get all your supplies. It was exactly what I needed for a short weekend stay with enough space for 3 of us and easy enough for us to move to my running event and back again. Hosts are very friendly and willing to assist.
