I certainly intend on going back to Avar Lounge. Our stay there was perfect.
We had a great time. Alta and her husband are very helpful and friendly, always time for a nice chat. We really enjoyed our stay and will use them again if we come to the Cape. The location is also excellent.
The atmosphere have a calm effect on one. The apartment was tidy and neat as always, The host kept me posted on loadshedding schedules. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely revisit.

It was raining the entire weekend which made the stay so much more relaxing.
The host was friendly and welcomed me with that feel at home warmth. The unit was spotless and tidy. She showed me around and confirmed I must just call her if I need any assistance. It was really nice the privacy stood out for me. So nice to be in a quiet area and just relax and unwind. The agent provided feedback and kept me informed, reminding me of my upcoming stay. Overall a very nice place if you enjoy quiet and quality time. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.
It's very clean and very quiet. The receptionist is very friendly.
It would be nice to have a broom or a mop, I like to tidy up while staying, the hand brush is not so easy to use.

Can recommend Avar Lodge at any time. Alta is an excellent host who will make you feel at home and helped us a lot with our travel planning to the city. The room is neat and clean. Coming from the countryside we forgot what city traffic might be like, but the accessibility of the surrounding freeways was a bonus the next morning. The room has everything you for an overnight stay.
Good value for money, and great location close to several enjoyable sites!
Avar Lodge is really perfect for a weekend away and is centrally located and has everything you need. Will definitely make a reservation again.
