Apartment has everything one needs. The air conditioning and warm blankets definitely helped in the terrible cold. The location was an absolute plus - we could walk everywhere. The decor is tasteful and the balcony was a necessary extra for when the sun was shining.

We had a great stay, thank you very much. I would like to make some constructive suggestions that could give the apartment such a boost. The Wi-Fi was very weak and slow, I switched to my mobile network later. The TV could turn on, but there was no connection to any of the TV channels or streaming channels. I then had to watch streaming programs on my mobile phone from my own mobile network. I suggest putting a kitchen sponge (one of those green ones) in the kitchen cabinet as well. There is no nice place to sit and work with your laptop. The only place is on the kitchen counter, but it's a bit uncomfortable to sit there and work on your laptop if you also want to cook. I suggest that the owners consider installing a folding desk or two on one or two of the walls that fold away when not in use and unfold when you want to work on it. Have a look on Pinterest for such proposals where the desks fold neatly away from the wall and unfold. It is quite important now that people can work on their laptops from anywhere and it would be a plus if the apartment could have at least two such work tables. Since there are two rooms, I would also have liked two sets of keys and tags because it is quite difficult to get access to the apartment with only one set of keys, because from time to time we are not all the time in and out of Stellenbosch together didn't move. This made the logistics quite difficult in places.
Excellent location centrally located in town.
Our only concern was that given the load-shedding occuring in SA no provision was made for emergency lighting in the apartment. There were a few battery operated lights attached to the walls but all the batteries were flat! Some self-charging globes in table & bedside lamps might be worth investing in.
We loved our stay in Stellenbosch. The apartment was very central, well-fitted and comfortable. The balcony was lovely to sit on and enjoy the mountain view. The street was noisy at night.
Stellenbosch a favourite destination. The apartment is well situated in the village. We'll equipped, tastefully decorated and safe. We will definitely stay here again.
