It was quite a silent place, since I like it silent to rest.
We enjoyed it very much. Lovely friendly service we got.
Very nice place, friendly cute owner. Complained a few times about the neighbors - the permanent resident smokes marijuana all day and is active in the evenings, so no one can sleep. The owner did address it, but the guest simply ignored him.
Would definitely recommend the guest house. We inconvenienced them by arriving late. Still we were received kindly. Really enjoyable.
Beautiful, quiet place. The bed is very comfortable. The shower could do with an anti-slip mat, but otherwise everything was great. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Pleasant stay we had nice and quiet nights.
The water was cold for the 1st two days! 2nd night returning our room was not cleaned because they did not have a spare key. Loud noises, laughs, furniture being moved around when sleeping. Just unpleasant.

No, the aircon and TV did not work. There was no preparation. Safe was open and exposed in the room.
Not nice at all. Other guests noisy at night. Only 1 towel per guest. No proper coffee station, just a few bags of coffee. No tea or sugar.
Hopeless place. The woman had to use her mobile phone so we could go up to the room and back. No electricity! Then taken to Threebees. Cutlery a shame. No coffee, tea or milk. Electrical wiring is a hazard. No introduction on arrival at both locations. Style here. First time we come to two such places in a row. What you see is not what you get!

The owner is very helpful, it is really affordable and clean. The self-catering section needs renovation, e.g. broken goods. It's really close to everything!
Arriving at the Indigo, I was taken to the Threebees Guesthouse. Very inconvenient, style ramp that is not very comfortable. Nowhere was there any person or way of contact. No candles or battery lights when there was a power outage.
No one received us - cleaning staff didn't even know about us. Booking was wrong. We were locked out when we came back in the evening after being out and had to park outside. Many of the amenities advertised were not available/did not work.

Photos are misleading. The room had no microwave or kettle. No soap at the sink. I wonder how such a guest house can still make a living? The furniture in the living room is so dirty and the stove plates in the kitchen are disgusting. What a huge disappointment.

An excellent stay. Very friendly staff and helpful too. Everything clean. Loved it from the beginning until we had to leave. If there is something wrong it has been dealt with immediately. Electrical things were not in order. Sockets looked like lightning struck the house. That's why "safety" has only three stars. Value for money, an awesome place to stay.
Location is very good and I was able to locate the guest house very quickly. Layout is very neat and excellent value for money especially considering the communal kitchen facilities that are there for guests to use. Would recommend without a doubt.
Photos only indicate the good portions and not the actual. One pays money and expects certain things but sitting is not provided. Would describe it as backpacker rather than B&B. Room not as in photos. No DStv, just normal SABC channels. Will not book there again. Would rather pay more elsewhere to get quality.

Not what I expected for a guesthouse. Had to park vehicle outside overnight due to too little parking on site. One bathroom is shared between all the guests.

Aves Indigo is very well located, affordable, clean, very nicely furnished and decorated and provides a delicious breakfast included in the price. However, there was no form of reception when we arrived, in fact our booking was lost and the online agent had to sort it out for us, which they did very professionally and efficiently. The entire building needs renovation and the parking facilities are not adequate or safe enough. Half of the guests' cars must be parked on the street. Although there is talk of a night watchman, I never saw him. Despite the mentioned problems, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the guest house with an open heart.
The fact that there were no soap or shampoo in the containers spoiled the accommodation. There was coffee in the room but no kettle. No management available.

The one staff lady was not friendly at all, our rooms were booked mixed up when we got there and there is no bell on the gate, so had to wait outside for 10 minutes, and we were not at all happy to leave our car outside overnight.
A peaceful area. The house is neat and the service is good. Close to Cullinan, so it's ideal for a weekend getaway. Will definitely visit it again.
No one answered the door or the telephone when we arrived in a big rainstorm. It took a few telephone calls to locate someone to assist us / let us in. Outside of that, the service was excellent, the room was clean, and the premises were quiet. I would return to Aves Indigo again.
When we stopped at Aves Indigo, no one opened and had to call the number on the gate. The person who answered drove us to another guest house, only to go back to Aves Indigo again. No one asked or suggested anything about breakfast, even though I paid for it.
No communication. Door lock falls out. No DStv. Bad quality cupboard. No coffee or tee. Only one big and small towel for my wife and I.

It was our wedding night, and so my husband and my brother quickly popped in earlier in the afternoon to get the keys etc. and they waited a long time at the gate, afterwards but called the owner, then he sent the servant to open for them, who only gave them the keys. No other information or such was conveyed. The night we arrived there was no hot water to take a nice shower. Also, the whole room was full of cockroaches, which then got into some of our food. The shower handle keeps falling off. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The bedside lamp didn't work, the headlight had one bulb that didn't work. The next morning we were downstairs, after probably looking for half an hour for anyone working there, we located a servant behind the kitchen. She explained to us that there is no breakfast. We'll just have to go to one of their other guesthouses to eat. Okay, so then we went to the other place they were talking about. The person there told us that the next morning we would be able to eat at our own place. Although the next morning it was the same story. The pool was grass green and we couldn't swim anywhere, which was exactly why we chose the place. We could hardly sit outside on the porch because of all the leaves and branches and wet cushions on the furniture. To conclude, we were supposed to have had a lovely honeymoon, and I'm not one to complain very soon, but this was really not what I expected. It is such a beautiful building and house, but it is very poorly managed.

On arrival the bell didn't seem to work so we had to call to get service. The manager was not there, and we were received by a female employee who did not know about us. There was not a room ready for us. We got a room but an extra bed had to be brought in for the third adult in our group. However, no extra towel or an extra coffee mug was provided. Water was lying in the corridor while the shower taps were loose. It's a beautiful house and a nice room, but it's a shame that the service made it an unpleasant experience for us.
The personnel were very friendly and made our stay perfect. With some small errors it was resolved very fast without any issues. We can definitely recommend Aves Indigo to anyone who needs relaxing accommodation whether for work, just overnight or for a vacation.
It is indeed a home away from home. Quiet and we had a peaceful night's sleep.
Sorry to say, if it wasn't for noise from new guests, we probably never would have met the manager. Poor guest parking. DStv not up to standard, very poor and unacceptable for a guesthouse.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by one of the workers who was happy to share with us that she still had some ironing to do before she could return home. She first took us to an apartment and after we had to call the owner she took us to one of 2 rooms in the category we booked. There was no toilet paper, coffee, tea or sugar (even though it was advertised as such). It just shows me that the room is not prepared for us. After asking for the shortages we received them quite quickly. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and so was on day 2. However, we were never informed when it was served. The advertisement mentions that DStv is available and it is not. Parking is also a problem as there are only 2 parking spaces behind a gate. This led to another phone conversation with the owner as we parked behind the gate and undercover on day 1 and couldn't park there again on day 2 when we returned. However, later in the evening the parking space was available again. They also claim that Afrikaans is spoken. Not once were we served in Afrikaans, in other words: their statement is untrue. I would also suggest that they do install a door for the bathroom in room 6. Communication only exists when you call the owner, the staff at the guest house in no way make you feel welcome while you are there. We will definitely not use this guest house again.
The attitude of staff was very stiff and sluggish. The noise from the kitchen early in the morning is of such a nature that one does not need an alarm clock. Parking was a nightmare. It is clear that the premises are not at all suitable for a guest house. On my reservation I was told by one Master that there are only three covered parking spaces and that it is on a first come basis. It became clear on the first day that this was not the case at all. The three covered parking spaces were taken up by two vehicles which are under such a thick layer of dust, which suggests that the vehicle has not been used for at least a few weeks or more. (Maybe it's just stored there?)
Our experience was not good. The place's maintenance is behind and it's not clean. I expect the best because I pay for the best.
We didn’t enjoy the stay there, the service was not good at all.
When we got there they never put our reservation in their system and we had to stand outside the gate and wait because the driver who was not on site. There is no on-site parking. We really didn't have a good welcome. That evening the staff made so much noise that my husband and I couldn't even hear each other upstairs in the room. We finally packed up our things and went looking for other accommodation. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent! Will use Aves Indigo again anytime for own gain!
I will go back for sure. Nice, big and clean. Fully equipped.
I stayed in the self-catering unit with my little dog. It suited us perfectly. Although there is a beautiful garden, my little dog was not too keen on meeting the resident dogs. I needed to stay an extra day and Master, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating.
We slept very well. At breakfast, the staff chatted very loudly in the kitchen. That was the only low point.
It's just a shame the other guests had a great time that evening.
A good area and it was very quiet. A problem was the parking: it would be better if there was more covered parking.
Room was adequate. However, the reception was very powerful. The cleaner opened for us and she didn't know who we were or how long we were staying. Questions about what time breakfast is served were also not clear. It was extremely weak.

Would not want to go here again. Rooms were rented out to students and they were noisy late at night. It's not what I thought the place would be.
We will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was YUMMY! The place is very nice and clean, more than value for money!
