The room was stylishly furnished and we could just relax. The hostess was very helpful and immediately made us feel welcome.
The room lived up to my expectations, but I think the owner could consider getting the usual / only certain DSTV channels available on TV. I would be willing to pay extra for the extra service.
Room 3 was nice and spacious and we had a nice stay.
The owner is friendly and helpful. The place is neat and clean. The garden and pool are lovely.
We were received very kindly and, because of the solar panels, slept wonderfully in the cool, while the rest of Upington sat with load shedding. The swimming pool and the beautiful green lawn and garden were certainly also much appreciated with the heat already felt early in the day.

It was one big surprise to find out that load shedding doesn't affect you because of the solar system. Definitely a bonus point from me.

The garden is a loop court. The ideal resting place for people who love gardening. There is a lot of water in Upington.

Rika is hospitable, friendly and very helpful. I wish I could spend more time at the guest house to enjoy the beauty of the garden and pool. Don't forget your swimming trunks if you spend the night here in the summer months. The guest house is suitable for the business traveler or for a family.
We were kindly received and could relax after a long hot day's journey. Had a lovely swim and walked around in a nice big garden. The breakfast was top notch. Will stay at Evening Rust again if we are in Upington. The parking was safe but a bit tricky with our large vehicle and trailer.

Unfortunately had to leave for Kimberley due to work conditions and received poor information. Did not receive any good attitude after paying too much. Fortunately only half paid as deposit which was far too much for the room I was in.
The room is neat but the outside is full of leaves, sweep in the corner of our room and the whole place full of dog poo, not nice and the parking also not very accessible for parking, very small.
Very pleasant stay. Nice and tidy, friendly reception, very helpful and safe. Will definitely use the hospitality again.

From the start they were hospitable and welcoming. We could only check in late the evening and found no problems with them. They are our type of people and it was lovely to stay there. I will recommend it to everyone and I will definitely go there again in the future!

Top notch service!
Beautiful, peaceful garden. Rooms are nice. Special paintings. Owner did not respond to calls and SMS before our arrival which was stressful. Rooms were nicely decorated, but bathroom walls were moldy and cupboards were dusty. There are also no tourism brochures available.
The guest house is undergoing construction which was not indicated during booking.
