Unbelievably beautiful surrounding. The dirt road leading to the resort takes time but is doable without a 4x4 and well worth the trip.

Stay in thatched chalets with a grand view across the lake to the mountain. Totally isolated and so peaceful once you are there, great value, friendly owner. There are downsides, however. It's 20 km down a gravel road. The resort has seen better days and is in need of some renovation. But this apart, it's great.
Please cut the grass, the road to the cottages is undrivable, otherwise the place is so marvelous I enjoyed my weekend.
Efforts are arranged and determined for you in advance. Neels goes out of his way to make sure you don't get lost. Only the respect and pre-planned comfort all get five stars. One can visit, fish and barbecue. Very nice place.
Perfect for fishing and relaxing. Fishermen rondawels are not there for luxury, but are more than enough for fishing.
Old and not maintained at all.
We decided to move after the second night due to the bad road and conditions. Owner told me that even if we move he is still looking for his money for the other two nights.
Clean rondavels and chalets. Personal service by the owner. Making sure that we were comfortable and happy.

Lovely place with silence and open spaces! Had a wonderful rest. Place has incredible potential and good facilities, but maintenance needs attention. Restaurant is currently not in working condition at all. We still had a great time!
Dirty, neglected, below standard.
Very pretty and peaceful. We arrived very late, but the management made sure that we felt at home. Was just too short because we were on our way to another destination.
What a beautiful place. The hills surrounding the dam was an awesome sight and we all had a great time. We did not really use the other facilities on the premises, just relaxed at the 2 fishing houses we rented. Plans are already being made for a follow up visit. I will definitely give this place a thumbs up.
Pathetic accommodation. Everything is dirty and ramshackle. One of the farm labourers checked us in. The bedding was dirty and worn out.

Very hot and dry. But the long enchanting sunset was more than worth it.
Was enjoyable. Just needs a bit of attention. Often there is no one at the bar when one needs something. No other complaints.
I can't complain about the service because there was absolutely no service. The bedding was not replaced after previous guests left, on the contrary our bedding was not changed at all in the 11 days we were there. When we arrived the caretaker/manager was drunk and so for the next two days. After that he was replaced with someone else who didn't help much either. None of our places were swept or cleaned at all, I had to go and ask for toilet paper myself. I am not willing to pay the full amount outstanding for the poor service. I am sure you will also hear from the people who are in no. 3, 4 and 5 stayed, or if you don't believe me feel free to contact them.
