8 guests' feedbackFor this particular weekend it was our desire to stay on a beautiful wine farm in the Boland. And Bakenhof was so, so ideal. The most beautiful gardens, the most beautiful antique-inspired furniture. It was exactly what we hoped for, and more! Our 4-month-old baby traveled with us, there is more than enough space in the room and also the small living room to store a camping cot. Rita was also very friendly and warmly welcomed us and showed us everything upon our arrival. The hot tub was of course also a bonus! Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.
It was nice to come home to the wine estate, very peaceful atmosphere, beautiful garden, our accommodation had everything we needed. We were very well received and Rita kept us informed of when there would be "loadshedding". Would definitely want to go there again.

We were a group of 10 people who checked in as we were attending a wedding. The rooms are incredibly neat, spacious and very modern. We really enjoyed the braai area and hot tub. Will definitely check in with you again if we need to spend the night in the area.
Will return in the future and spend some more time just enjoying the view.
We were welcomed by Rita, all Covid protocols in place. A beautiful unit with the most gorgeous views of Wellington and the mountains. The bed was very comfortable so we had a good night's sleep. Rita was only a phone call away and happy to assist with our needs. Will definitely recommend this establishment.
