Very friendly reception. Rooms are nicely furnished with everything you need. Free WiFi also worked during load shedding. We arrived during load shedding and the rooms have "load shedding" lamps that worked and on the nice porch in front of the rooms, there is nice seating with burning oil lamps. Although it is located on the main street, it is very safe, quiet and no noise that kept us awake. Secure parking behind security gate is also a bonus. Would definitely recommend Baleia!

I stayed at Baleia because I was cut off from my home by the recent floods. It was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Even though it's close to the main road, it was a quiet overnight and I slept well. The location isn't scenic, but that was the least of my concerns.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. The guest house is clean, modern, tidy and safe. The only problem we encountered was that the beds were too hard. The place is comfortably furnished and we had a great time staying there.

I was in Hermanus at the weekend to run the Hemel en Aarde marathon. I could come and go as I pleased with ease. It's dead quiet in the evening which makes for a good night's rest. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool and breakfast were the icing on the cake. I will definitely visit the friendly hostesses again.

What a stunning guest house! We were wowed from the moment we walked in: lovely pool, the rooms were spotless and decorations are modern. Breakfast is amazing! And the owners are so friendly.
