Wonderful view of the sea and whales.
Very comfortable apartment. Received excellent service from agent, issue with air conditioning was resolved very quickly.
Apartment very tidy inside, spacious. Front security gate and porch with grass, aluminum doors need attention. Difficulty opening and closing. Would recommend the apartment but not the area.
We felt at home. The accommodation is a quiet place to be and feel the breeze of the sea.
The service is amazing until they need to pay back the deposit. They try to make you pay for damages that were already there, which they don't tell you about before check-in. After long and exhausting communication with the person in charge, I was just disappointed with the service.
The place is mind blowing, perfect for family and beautiful furniture, clean and inviting.
The unit was very nice, matched the pictures.
1. There were cockroaches and eggs in the cutlery and crockery drawers. It needs to be fumigated often, when I called the property 24/7, they were shocked as they said all their units were fumigated in November 2022. Also, had remote gate entry and exit issues which supervisor on premises couldn't resolve but only sorted on check out time after 6 days. The parking is just for one vehicle whilst other units have 2 parking bays and had to park the 2nd car on the road at risk of theft. Cleaning was just on 2 days in the 6 nights we spent there. 2. Collection and return of keys was far from the resort. Had to go to Ballito city centre, a Shell garage, to pick and drop the keys and travel to Bali Hai 301 which is in Westbrook.
Enjoyed the short break. Hope to be back.
Als was very nice. Except that on the morning of our arrival we had to submit forms and pay a R2000 deposit before we could get our key which we were not aware of or had misread. Then when the house is cleaned, the toilet paper is not exchanged so people only have to take 1 or 2 extra with them.
Parking is a challenge if travelling with more than one vehicle. Nevertheless recommended to friends. I will certainly book this apartment in future.
Reason for a 3 star, the aircon did cool the place at all and it was boiling hot. Made our stay miserable, these things need to be checked at each check out to make sure it's in order for the next person because when booking in on a weekend there's nothing that can be done, just had to suffer it out. Also the braai area was full and ended up dirty so we could not enjoy that facility, even the pool. Karen is a excellent agent though place is clean and up to date. Sea view amazing!
The parking is a total nightmare. No provision made for trailer. One gate was damaged by a gas and gate remained open until Friday. The parking is such that if you park below it is a lot of trouble to get your luggage into the unit. Agent sorted that out by having an additional remote programmed which gave us access to the parking garage where the lift stops. The TVs are supposed to have all four DStv but the owner only chose a subscription that can handle 3 TVs. None of the TVs in third or fourth room reworked. We had to wait until Friday to get it sorted. The air conditioner doesn't cool at all, technicians that wash out the compressor needs to be replaced.
10/10 incredibly nice place, clean and tidy. A must stay and spacious for family. The owners might just think about buying a new bed for the master bedroom. The mattress has been slept on a bit. See you again in the year!
We had a lovely stay at Bali Hai 301. The parking spaces are rather a tight fit. I was a little disappointed in assuming it was closer to Ballito Main Beach, but we non the less had a great stay. The apartment was very clean, and the kids loved watching TV in their own room. The view is breathtaking. it was a very pleasant retreat for a quick breakaway. Thank you.
