Bali Hai was lovely clean and tidy. The cleaners were friendly! We had a great stay and will definitely return. The highlight was of course the beautiful view!

Suggest place is cleaned well and get new linens. Fitted sheet barely fits over mattress.

The unit was not properly cleaned, there was not even toilet paper or any cleaning products. If they made it clear, we knew how to plan.

"My stay from the time we arrived was unpleasant due to the uncleanliness of the apartment. It is neglected."

When we arrived the stove, dishes and cupboards were thick with dirt. The balancing was not clean. Cupboards and bathrooms were smelly. Towels and table clothes were dirty. Overall it was a bad experience and we will not be recommending or staying there again. The positive thing about the place was the view. We did receive good service from Karen from Prop247 who assisted us during our stay. She was very helpful.

"Lovely place with administrative hassles and disturbances."

It is a beautiful and modern unit with a lovely view. Cleaners cleaned very nicely every day. It is inconvenient to go home in Westbrook but have to collect and return the key from Chas Everitt in Ballito. The parking spaces are very small and no. 402's parking space is not at the same level as the lift, which makes it inconvenient for loading and unloading. We got there on Sunday afternoon and found out on Tuesday that the tumble dryer was not working. This was reported to Chass Everitt. On Thursday, Chass Everitt's agent left a message on my phone saying that they wouldn't get someone to look at the tumble dryer until the following Monday (our departure date). On Saturday afternoon, while we were sleeping, the caretaker knocked on the door and let us know that someone was coming to look at the tumble dryer - no notice and against the complex rules that no repairs may be done after 12:00 on a Saturday. The fan belt was removed and it was only indicated to us that they had previously been unable to get parts for the tumble dryer. Nevertheless, the unit is advertised with a working tumble dryer. The caretaker also knocked on the door on time and off time to put remotes in and out etc. It was quite disturbing. At the same time, the agent regularly contacted them about administrative forms they repeatedly wanted completed. We left March 9th. I only got my breakage deposit back on March 17th after 3 requests. It is unacceptable that agents take so long to repay deposits. (We got the full deposit back). Although it was a very nice place with a lovely view, all the administration and disturbances will make me think twice before I will stay there again.

"Nice modern but dirty!"

Keys are only available in Ballito and must be returned there as well. (19 km round trip). The place is very nice and modern, but there are 2 cleaning services. The staff are very helpful and their cleaners only do floors, bathrooms and make the beds. (Before 4pm if you're lucky) They provide 2 toilet paper rolls and 2 small soaps, that's all. No clean towels or bedding for a full week. The caretaker is nowhere to be seen and his cleaners have not cleaned the apartment. Furniture, walls, cupboards and drawers are very dirty. We had to wash the dishes of the previous vacationers again. It was either tough, or full of greasy marks or still had traces of previous foods. The stove was very busy. No dish soap but 1 sponge, 1 very thin tiny washcloth and 11 broken dish towels. Not pleasant. There were 52 items on the inventory list that were not correct. There were also 3 adult ladies. (also from Bali Hai) who enjoyed drinks in glasses by the pool and swam with bare torsos. Will not use Bali Hai again. It's a shame because the place has potential.

Oven in the kitchen was dirty, no gas braai on the balcony like indicated on photo, no toilet paper in bathrooms!

Very nice and tidy with a beautiful view of the sea. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for some time away from home. Rooms' beds are in good condition. Apartment is nice and spacious.
