The third and fourth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom with a bath, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. A dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer are provided, and there is also a breakfast bar with stools. The living area is air-conditioned and contains a comfy lounge suite and a flat-screen TV. You need to bring with you your own emergency lights or candles, DStv decoder, card or an Open View decoder, and connection cables as there won't be any TV available as there is no decoder in the unit. The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has an outdoor patio set and a gas braai.
An allocated parking bay is available for this unit. Additional visitor parking is available on a first come first serve basis. The Balooga complex has a communal swimming pool.

2 guests' feedbackPositives. Building location. Access Control. Security. Parking Availability. Easy Access gate to beach area. Easy access to pool, which was clean all the time. Negatives. Cleanliness of unit [floors, furniture, etc. ], blackish soot-like substance on tiles, due to lack of proper mopping / cleaning. I do believe we left the unit in a cleaner state than which we received such. Condition of certain built-in-cupboards, doors falling apart. Corroded window mechanisms / handles, windows cannot be opened or closed properly. Handles on various drawers were loose, we actually secured back into place. Lack of door hooks / stoppers to prevent doors from slamming, when open. Lack of suitable brooms, mops, cleaning ‘tools’. Main freezer door, unusual sound [emanating from the hinge] when being opened / closed. Broken lamp base [bedroom 1]. Non-functional bathroom light [bathroom 2]. Poor state of certain cabinets, wardrobes, furniture and certain window blinds. “Old” / stained beddings, most certainly not acceptable. Un-realistic check-out times [08:00am], in discussion with other tenants, their booking allowed 'normal' check-out times: 10:00am / 11:00am.
Some windows and crockery were broken when we got there and the stove was a nightmare to operate, fridge and microwave plug stopped working on our last day there. Beautiful place but it needs to be maintained properly.

In certain cases when a deposit was paid and the client wants to cancel there will be a non-refundable cancellation fee of R500 will be levied on all cancellations. This R500 is over and above the percentage already stated as the cancellation fee.

More than 2 weeks before check-in, 25% deposit refunded.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the property.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
- Please note that the admin fee is included in the quote.- The refundable breakage deposit fee is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is not included in the rate.
- The reservation agreement that will be sent to the client after the deposit was paid must be filled in and sent back before arrival. No keys will be released without the necessary documentation returned to the host.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days after departure, less any deductions for breakages.
- Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit.
- Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform the host immediately.
- The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by yourself.
- Please remember to email the host your account details.
- Please ensure that the outstanding balance reflects in the host's bank account 7 days prior to arrival.
- Please do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the unit. Failure to comply with this request will result in eviction with no refund and no notice period.
- No smoking is allowed inside any of the units, flats or houses. Should you smoke in the house you will lose your breakage deposit in full.
- If a cleaning service is needed it can be arranged prior to arrival, at an additional cost.
- Cleaning services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
- We cannot be held liable for any losses or inconvenience to tenants caused by an act beyond our control. In the event of any appliance being out of order we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.
Don’t forget to bring the following:
- Towels for swimming and bathing.
- DStv decoder with the remote and card.
- Your own cleaning chemicals and toilet paper for your stay.
