Bamboo Cottage is a Japanese-African inspired apartment, situated in Parktown, Johannesburg. The house was built on stilts around an enormous Jacaranda, with traditional Japanese Tea House principles in mind. The cottage is completely private from the other house located on the property.

Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, suited to accommodate up to 4 guests. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and the second bedroom features twin single beds. The 2 bedrooms share a bathroom, which comes fitted with a bath and a shower. An outdoor shower is also available and all linen and towels are provided. Underfloor heating and wooden fans are fitted in the bedrooms and living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, all cutlery and crockery, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area or relax in the lounge which offers a wood-burning fireplace as well as a TV with DStv. Wi-Fi is also available.

The Japanese-styled bamboo garden comes equipped with a water feature, as well as an outdoor deck offering braai facilities. Other on-site facilities include a garage, an electric fence, alarm system and secure parking for 2 cars.

The cottage is situated within a 10 minute drive from Parktown, Melville, Braamfontein, the Gautrain station, various restaurants, shops, a bakery, a pizzeria, a beer garden and Virgin Active gym.
