It is an older facility, but everything was neat and clean. Everyone is very friendly. The sea view was a dream, and it's just down the path to the beach. We had a wonderful stay.
It was the first time we went to the resort. We had a great time. The resort is very neat and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The vegetation in the resort is particularly beautiful.
We can't complain about anything except that 2 of the roof fans were very slow and we couldn't set them faster. We were in no 26.
I had a great stay and enjoyed it.
Weather was perfect, and the accommodation was clean, and the view was excellent.
No, there were other unwanted guests who were very loud and openly drank beer from 750ml bottles. There was a bench right in front of our rondavel that they used, and also later the bench broke.
Some utensils need to be renewed, better quality toilet paper is a must. But staff like Unus and Jenny are always brilliant.
Unfortunately, loadshedding made it uncomfortable because there is no gas and so we couldn't cook and eating places were closed. Also, places are very close to each other, and vacationers can be very noisy at times. And they should completely ban music in resorts. Had a nice rest.
Maintenance attitude urgently needed.
Banana Beach is excellent value for money. The chalet was spacious, with a lovely sea view. The chalet was equipped with everything needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Calm atmosphere. Walking distance from the beach.
Beautiful area for a holiday.
Enough grass for the kids to play and walking distance from the beach. We had a lovely stay at Banana Beach Holiday Resort. The rondavel was clean and neat and perfectly located. Walking distance to the beach which helps with small children!
I booked the stay for my daughter and husband for there honeymoon and they loved it. Next time I'll book it for my wife and myself.
It's so peaceful, a perfect place to visit when you want peace of mind.
I just think the units could be spruced up a bit to a more modern style, and the bathrooms are very 'outdated', we also struggled with the shower faucet not turning on. The resort could also make a little more effort with a play area for the children and look at generators for loadshedding, I don't get loadshedding where I live, so it was no pleasure for us to sit in the dark on a weekend break not. We also did not receive the WIFI password from reception. Furthermore, the view and location are perfect.
Provide towels and cleaning material. Provide Wi-Fi. Have shuttle service.
Nothing much that was interesting besides the monkey wanting to steal our food. There must be signage to be cautious of monkeys.
There were, however, some children making loud noises and at one point looking at us and then jumping out of sight. I handled it as best I could. Other than that we not huge traveller's so we had a really great time.
My kids loved the place so much with the kids swimming pool, everything was perfect, would definitely come back.

Very nice place to visit, beach is just a short walk away. Nice fishing spots nearby and from the beach.
The wooden bridge to the beach needs attention, but you have to consider that it is not the resort's fault.
All was good, just the rainy weather, no shelter to have a braai when it's raining.

View from my hut to the beach mostly blocked. They have a fence behind the wall so if the wall is dropped by 1 slab and trees are cut, the view will be perfect. Shower/water pressure extremely low.

The resort is ideally located. Against the sea. Can drive to all the busy tourist towns, but still come home peacefully. The rondavels are superbly laid out. More than sufficient. Secure peace of mind with guards 24/7. Would go again anytime!

Very nice resort and the rondavels are very well equipped and tidy.
It would be nice if there were additional blankets, it was a bit cold on that weekend. There was no sponge to wash the dishes, but there was dishwashing liquid. It was comfortable.
Beach on Banana Beach had a bit of a steep profile making the water choppy but found calmer waters in surrounding beaches.
Place is nice and quiet, enjoyed my stay. Bath mats for safety purposes will be appreciated, my room had none.
The stay was good. The only thing that was inconvenient was the absence of towels, dishwashing liquid and a cloth.

For anyone travelling from outside the area, don't drink the tap water please. Rather opt for bottled water.

On arrival I was disappointed, because the facility was not aware of my arrival, I had to wait for 25 minutes for an alternative plan, I had booked a rondavel however the alternative was not such.
We are not impressed with the bathroom and I had to mop the floor all the time because the fridge didn't work. Reception was disabled after the 2nd call. They are friendly until you pay. After that they have no worries about guests. I would not recommend the place. They didn't even respond to my complaint via email. We checked in and the room was not ready. We had to wander around before we could enter the premises. Never again. Not worth the money at all.

Sorry there is no mention of having to bring your own bath towels. Our unit in which we stayed needed urgent renovation work in the bathroom. Location is excellent because it is close to beach.

It's a very nice place. I myself would stay there again in the future, especially because it is walking distance to the beach and not too busy. House is very nice, it was a bit difficult with the fact that our house only had a shower (with the grandchildren).
There is no sea view, the dishes are not washed, no towels or cloths, and it's also not very safe with the gate where everyone just walks in and out. The gate can not close properly.

A few suggestions: Maybe consider an air con, although the fans were adequate. Also provide candles or invest in a generator for the power outages. No real complaints. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone, it was nice and clean, conveniently close to the beach, there are play parks for the little ones and the most beautiful views to look at. We also of course had birds as neighbors who kept us busy all day by watching them build their nests. Thanks for great service.

It has a great location with the beach right there. Love the beach too as it is great for small kids. The chalet was comfy enough, just wish they their daily service included washing dishes.

I like the place very much, most important due to the security guard at the gate. He was so friendly with everything we ask. The only problems I experienced was that no one explained that the chalet rooms booked were open plan. Secondly the person who was cleaning our room was not friendly at all, she was not helpful. Overall enjoy staying there, so much so that I am even considering reserving it again in December.
It was really an incredibly pleasant vacation. Accommodation was wonderful, neat, clean and nice close to the beach. Children thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely come again soon.
