The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and other appliances. The property has an outside washing room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The lounge and dining area is very spacious and opens up onto the veranda with beautiful views of the ocean. A TV with DStv is available in the house.
Baracuda Boulevard has a large patio with a built-in braai area on the veranda. Two vehicles can be accommodated in the garage with extra parking on the property. There is electric fencing around the property perimeter and the house and garden is fully equipped with an alarm system since November 2015. It is also situated close to town and local shops and other main swimming beaches in the area.

We took 2 large dogs with us. They enjoyed the space and it was nice to know they could run around and not get anywhere.
Very nice, big tidy house. Incredibly beautiful sea view, hear the waves breaking all day and night. In love on the porch! The garden gate down to the sea was the 'cherry' on the cake! Sea is a few meters from you and not difficult to get to at all. Jolandi was always available and friendly. Will definitely want to vacation there again.
That stoep is the heart of the place. Enjoyed the porch all day and night. Saw many dolphins and whales, right from the porch. The beach is awesome and an easy walking distance.
Fantastic view at an affordable price.
The house is large and spacious, but unfortunately full of unkempt antiques, books and board games. The gloomy, cold feeling of the house was soon forgotten as soon as we started hanging out on the porch. Beautiful view, and whale could be seen everywhere. Opening and closing the gate to the beach is a challenge with the electric fence in place. Our dog enjoyed the large lawn. We slept in the red room and the bed was of good quality and comfortable. A mirror other than that of the small cabinet would be welcome. No directions on how to start the water pump. Fortunately, my friend is knowledgeable and we were able to quickly get it going for hot water in the convenient shower. In the kitchen there are enough cutlery, a large fridge/freezer and a dishwasher as a bonus. If it weren't for the wonderful porch, we might feel differently about a return.
The house is well located by the sea and is also close to basic shops. General surroundings take you out of the busy North Shore.
Perfect stay with our family and older children. High ceilings and beautiful ocean views. The patio overlooking the beach is huge and undoubtedly the best feature of the house, we spent all of our time outside. Well stocked kitchen with gas in case of load shedding. The place also has back up in case of water issues. Will definitely return.
This was our second visit, but certainly not our last. For cleanliness, safety, friendly service and the perfect location, Barracuda Boulevard gets full marks. Thank you very much Jolandi for allowing us to use your house again, it remains the best place to stay in Hibberdene.

My 2 dog boys and I really enjoyed it. So right on the beach! The house has everything one needs. Enjoyed it so much I extended my stay by a few days. I have already advertised the place to family and friends and we will definitely be going again.
This house is literally on the stand. Was great with little kids because you could run up quickly if you needed to get something. Lovely rocks if you want to fish and pools where the children could frolic and catch small fish. Within walking distance of the main beach with restaurant, but we just swam right in front of the house. Was delicious would definitely recommend for a family or group of people.
I expected a more modern take. Our group agreed that it looks like the owner is using all the old furniture they want to get rid of at the vacation home. Be assured that the neighbor is the owner's guard. We got the feeling that there was a constant report of our doings. It was quite unpleasant. The house is well located, lovely lawn where the dogs could play. The open plan living/dining room and kitchen is a great idea. The cement floors put me off, looks neglected, but it's probably a more convenient option for the owner. The stove is built in high up, very uncomfortable as we are all cramped. The same with the built-in braai, but well located near the kitchen. The rooms appear dark and depressing, larger windows or sliding doors in the rooms themselves might be a better option. We were 9 guests, the 3 bathrooms were a plus. But this is our opinion, it remains the owner's piece of paradise.
House sits in right place where one could easily get access to beach.
We will definitely use Baracuda Bouevard 670 again, especially if we have a family gathering. There is enough sleeping space and meeting space for a large family.

Thank you very much for the lovely stay, we were privileged to be able to use your family holiday home. We really enjoyed the time, the weather didn't cooperate but the nice and spacious stoep made up for it. The alarm went off a few times, but it was probably just the electric fence and the wetness. Gladiator understood and accepted it that way. The house is so fully equipped, everything was there that was needed. My favorite was the marble top in the kitchen, every woman's dream. Thank you very much again. We can really recommend Baracuda Boulevard for any family, from small to a large family, there is enough room for everyone.
You don't get a better sea view. The house is neat and has everything you need. Nice large veranda where you can have a nice barbecue and listen to the waves breaking on the beach. Nice to set the beams while you are outside on the porch which makes you feel more secure. The security company is quick to respond if the alarm goes off. They came out a few times after the electric fence went down but there was nothing and we suspect the fence just needs a good service. We could also take our dog with us and he had just as much fun hanging out with us. Would definitely recommend the place. There is room for many people. It had been simply heavenly.
Electric fence makes alarm go off when it rains i.e. you can't use it in rainy weather (which is more than half the time). Was reported to the owner and security company on day 3. On day 7 it was still not right when we drove. Hek's car does not open and close as it should. He latches on or opens a bit himself. Chain locking gate to beach makes it difficult not to be shocked by fence, slide lock would work better. Person cleaning house has keys and full access and just showed up one day and came in unexpectedly. You don't immediately get the owners or anyone in your hands to sort out problems and it feels like it's just your own problem. Porch is very nice and nice view and house is by the sea which were the positive points. Unfortunately, we came back a day earlier due to the problems. Contacted owner about the above after our return so I didn't have to give the type of reviews, but my message was only listened to and no feedback was given ie. i don't know if it really matters. So I have to give the honest opinion here so that it can improve for other guests.
The house was very clean, open plan with an amazing porch. It rained all week and the porch was a lifesaver. We will definitely visit this holiday home again. The beach in front of the house was clean and we could walk far. We enjoyed it very much.
We had a very comfortable stay, everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful environment. Will definitely stay there again. Just remember to bring binoculars to watch whales and dolphins.

Positive aspects: security, location and view over the sea, distance from the sea, size of rooms and space in the kitchen, that porch with its patio furniture as well as the braai area as well as the space in the lock-up garage. Negative aspects: the weekend was too short.

The only item that needs attention is the oven's upper element which is not working. All the space was wonderful: kitchen, living room, porch. The shower next to the small bedroom is special. We were able to rest wonderfully.
The house was big enough for two families of 5 and 4 respectively with Grandpa and Grandma. Neat and clean with enough plates, cups, knives and forks. The open-plan kitchen, dining room, TV room and porch never let anyone not feel part of the company. The fact that the house has direct access to the beach was probably the highlight because it was easy to get back home quickly with a child who wants to use the bathroom.

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful home. Everything was so well-planned. The layout of the house, right down to the non-slip bedside rugs! Important for the elderly! It was a home away from home experience. We would certainly go back anytime. So safe for little children too.
