Barbados 13 is a private self-catering villa situated in Caribbean Estates Port Edward, a unique residential estate in the lush tropical setting of KwaZulu Natal’s South Coast.

The villa can accommodate 6 guests and is comprised of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. The living area has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, washing machine, and a tumble dryer. In the lounge is a flat-screen TV, DStv, and a DVD player are provided and the dining area is equipped with a 6-seater dining room table. The outdoor patio has built-in braai facilities, as well as a 6-seater patio table and chairs. Fans are provided in the bedrooms, and guests also have access to an outdoor shower, and a lock up garage. A daily cleaning service is also provided.

Caribbean Estates facilities include a swimming pool complex with 2 additional pools on the estate, tennis courts, and a small playground for children. Guests are allowed to bring their own boats or take advantage of the jet ski's, boats, and other equipment at Waterworld across the river. The reception is open 24 hours, and 24-hour security is also provided. Although the villa is situated on a seafront stand, it is protected from direct sea wind by lush green vegetation.

The beach and river are accessed via scenic walkways through a conservation area and are within walking distance of the villa. A variety of bird species, small buck species, and monkeys found in this conservation area and can often be seen from the villa’s patio.

Caribbean Estates is 4 km north of Port Edward, a small holiday town with white sandy beaches, offering excellent fishing, and is a 5-minute drive from the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino, where water sports, horse riding, and golf are just some of the activities available.
