The check-in was easy and they were happy to accommodate early check-in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the facilities all worked well (shower, toilet, etc). It was a very convenient, comfortable, and peaceful stay.

Batter Boys are beautiful, quiet, neat and clean. Service is friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day, new fresh towels, bottles of water, soaps, coffee, tea, sugar, milk. Everything you might need.

We were very disappointed with the fact that there was no air conditioning in the room. There was only a football station and e-TV on the television. The only other 2 channels were unknown and without sound. Booking and check-in were handled very well by both the website and the staff at Batter Boys.

For a Boutique Hotel we were really surprised. It really is value for money. Clean and tidy. Hostess was wonderful. Pulled so hard that we could check in an hour or so earlier.

My son got married and we had to check in earlier. From the 1st e-mail to them with our request, we were treated kindly. When we arrived we were even earlier than originally and it was no problem for them to accommodate us. We were kindly received and everything was delicious and comfortable.
They scrambled a bit to locate our reservation. When we were already in bed that evening, there was apparently a double booking, and someone wanted to unlock the door. Early the next morning, there were loud conversations from workers right in front of our room, which was really disturbing. At breakfast they doubted our payment, as they could not find proof that we had indeed paid for the accommodation. I think there is just confusion among the workers there.
They can inform guests that they have a function on the night of your reservation. It is not nice at all to lie up to 12 hours and listen to a noise.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Batter Boys. We booked a room for two but had a crisis and had to bring our little girl with us. They were so hospitable and gave us an extra room for her. The rooms are neat, clean and the beds were lovely. Slept better there than at my own house. Beautiful place with beautiful garden.
The room is very small, little space around the bed for moving. In the description on the website, the room is described with a king-size bed which is not. DSTV channels are poor, but well-equipped for sports channels. It will also be advisable to inform clients that a function will take place before the booking is made. On Saturday night, I had to go through the room with my little girl among lively people. The parking area was about full and all available space was at function guests where they were sitting on the grass and parking lot. At our request for dinner I am referred to the shopping centre as there are no dinners served.
We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean facilities and will always use them when we visit Pretoria in the future. The location was great in terms of main routes and we felt safe in the complex. The rates are extremely reasonable for the amenities we got for it. Everything was in great working order.
Can definitely recommend it to anyone, we had a great stay, our room was very nicely done and a lot of effort was put into breakfast, will definitely stay there again if we go to Pretoria.

The reception was very friendly. The room was neat and clean, even though we missed aircon. The bed unfortunately had a steel pedestal which made it uncomfortable during the night. If you are short it probably wouldn't bother you. Breakfast was delicious!
