The view was stunning, whether you sit in the living room or room or on the patio, you have a beautiful sea view. It's in a nice place to drive everywhere, although the beach is not walking distance, the nearest beach is very close to drive to. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need and it's nice and spacious.

Firstly the venue with the outlook on to the sea from the lounge and bedroom was stunning! Then experience was breathtaking to say the least with the most beautiful beaches, stretching for kilometers, that I have encountered in all my coastal vacations over many years of travelling. Definitely a best bang for your Buck experience at Bayview in my opinion in such an exquisite part of SA.
Poppie and her husband made us feel very welcome. It was out of the hustle and bustle of the city but also very close if you wanted to go to Knysna or Sedgefield. The accommodation was clean, very tidy and well maintained. Will definitely stay there again if we go that way.
The word awesome can't even describe the time that we had at Bay View. Firstly we got an apartment that we didn't even book. We received one better than we originally had booked. Poppie made us feel at home the moment we arrived. She is a wonderful person inside and out. Our apartment had everything that we needed and more. The view that we had was amazing everything about Bay View is amazing! Poppie was nice that on day two she brought us some towels to use which we did not expect, but being the lovely hostess that she was she did it. First we were shocked, we were upgraded to a nicer room/apartment. Which is a great blessing actually, because we wanted to stay cheap and go see more attractions. The owners were very friendly and helpful, gave many suggestions of places to see and do and where are the best restaurants. On one side you have a sea view and if you walk across the road you see Knysna at night with all the lights, it was incredibly beautiful. Braai facilities are there, secure parking, DStv, Wi-Fi, pots and pans and kettle all the necessary things also for self catering. Brenton-on-sea is a beautiful beach that is literally 3 minutes drive from the place. Just make sure you buy the necessary things before you return to the place, because it's outside the Knysna town so I suggest looking on the map where the place is, because some people probably won't like it.
The tranquility and tranquilizers with the beautiful view make the stay worthwhile. Is absolutely value for money.

Small place with all you need for a self-catering holiday. Very relaxing and simple. You can drive easily to Brenton on Beach and are not far from Thesen island and Leisure Isle. The view is pretty too! We loved looking at the sky - I don’t think we’ve ever seen so many stars. A nice chilled, simple place.

Me and my daughter really enjoyed our stay. The service by Poppie and her husband was excellent. The apartment was beautifully clean and well furnished. We felt really safe and were well informed about the attractions etc. Their kindness was contagious, and they were always available and helpful. Two units very convenient.
It was incredibly nice to be able to stay at Bay View. The place is neat and very clean. Poppie and her husband are very friendly. I was so glad to see there was a hair dryer in the cupboard as I had forgotten mine. There was also an ironing board and broom etc. The view is also very beautiful and the 'local Robins' (bird) will come and eat your hand, as soon as they get used to you. In the morning they sit on the porch rail and wait for their 'snack'.
Bay View is beautifully situated for a beautiful view of Buffalo Bay. The house was clean and people were very friendly. We had a nice stay and a wonderful holiday there.
They should please in the future on the web page mention that DStv is not available, as well as that 2 bedrooms have to share a bathroom.
