It is affordable, the food is delicious and the people are very friendly and helpful.
Safe and a nice overnight facility.
Wayne has been very kind and his willingness to make sure that everything is 100% was astonishing.
Rooms are spacious and tidy, cleaned every day and provided with dry towels. Breakfast is very tasty and affordable. Close enough to the beach and shops.
Will go again if the opportunity arises.

Toilet leaked. Room not cleaned properly. Staircase was dirty. Bathroom cupboard needs to be replaced. Door between rooms does not close properly and I could hear the neighbour.
The lodge should make better means when it's load shedding. Either with rechargeable lighting or generator back up systems because the place would be super dark.

Everything is clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The sink faucet in my unit was completely loose. The WiFi is very limited which was a problem as it was a business trip. Breakfast was very nice.
Renovations can definitely be attended to. Food was very good and the people are friendly. We were immediately helped with an extra night.
The room is old and smells bad, and the sink faucet is loose. Upgrade would be good as pictures are sometimes deceiving.

The only shortage was the mugs and glasses, the beds are for 4 people but there are only 2 of each.

Upon reception we were kindly welcomed. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Even though we only stayed 1 night we still felt important with the good service. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home.
The restaurant and service were fantastic, the food delicious, and it was very affordable.
The sink faucet was loose and the wash was not nice. I was not comfortable with the open gate and with my trailer having to stand unattended all night.

Was fantastic accommodation, the people were very friendly and helpful. Value for money and perfectly located if you want to go fishing, it is safe to park your boat. Will stay at Bayview again next time.

A good setting, but the bathroom basin needs improvement, and an addition of microwave will also be a valuable addition. Another valuable addition would be an electricity backup during load-shedding. Even if it can be only for lights it would be very important.
Was damn cold in Richards Bay. Room did not have warm bedding on it. Thin sheet with a thin cover over the sheet and bed. Didn't even have enough blankets in the closet for the beds and amount of people. The three blankets that were there we gave to children to stay warm. Our adults just slept under the sheets and died from the cold all evening.
Thanks to Annatjie & Hubert, the hotel room was clean & tidy, daily clean towels & coffee, sugar & Cremora sachets found in the room. Your hotel breakfast was a hit every morning. Will remember the holiday. Was delicious.

The hotel is close to most attractions and the rooms are adequate. The pool and bar can sometimes get a bit busy as it is open to the public but otherwise it is a good place to sleep over if you are in Richards Bay.
