I don't leave reviews as we travel a lot but this place deserves one. One of the most amazing places that we've stayed. Dolphins and whales kept us entertained. Thank you Theo for an unforgettable couple of days. Definitely on our return list.
Had a lovely stay in the gem of a place at the unspoiled Bazley Beach. Quiet and comfortable with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The property was very clean, well-kept, and in good condition. Our host was very friendly and welcoming, and saw us in and out while giving us all the privacy we needed. He even went out of his way and got a little something for my daughter for her 1st birthday. Highly recommended!
From our arrival to our departure we felt so rested. Theo - thank you very much for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Everything is so convenient and there is everything and more that one needs. The accommodation is so well and neatly equipped with the sea lulling you to sleep in the evening. People think the place is a bit remote, but it is exactly what you need to relax and the shops are only a 20 minute drive away - excellent PnP in Scottburgh. We will definitely visit again! Theo is a wonderful host who ensures that you are at ease and have everything you need, as well as good references for delicious places to eat in the area.
What an amazing little gem. The unit is spacious, very well equipped, private and extremely comfortable. Theo has thought of everything, even water bowls for our Jack Russell, who loved the big, securely fenced garden. He is a charming host and available 24/7 should you need assistance. Being in a cul de sac, it's very quiet, with only the sounds of birds and the sea. A perfect place to relax and unwind.
Need more than 20 characters. (But I'm going to try my luck with more characters anyway!) Bazley Heights left deep traces in our hearts. Not only is it a house that offers everything, but the space you have at your private disposal (the garden and the pool area) is remarkable. All we can say about the stay is it was fantastic. But we can write volumes about the host, Theo! He is just a very remarkable person, one of those treasures that you accidentally stumble upon on your life's path and immediately fall head over heels in love with! He's like "The Phantom of the Opera". You don't see him, but you know he provides and looks after; to every aspect of your stay. He is "The Great Gatsby". A charming, humble host who only wants your stay in his cottage to be cherished forever! Theo. You and your little house are forever in our hearts!

Theo is such a welcoming host. He went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome. He set up water bowls for the dogs, welcome snacks (and doggy treats too), as well as a birthday gift for my mom, as that was our reason for our trip. The garden is beautiful, the scenery is just stunning, and Theo's unit is so comfortable you can't help but immediately relax.
We decided at the last minute to slip away to the sea for a week/8 days. After much searching, decided on Bazley Heights. Photos and summary convinced us. From the first communication with Theo (manager/owner) we realized we had made the right choice for us and our 2 dog children. Upon our arrival we were surprised with a warm welcome and on top of that snacks and other things for us and the dogs. The accommodation has everything you can dream about. You literally only need to bring clothes and food. The view is breathtaking, especially waking up to the roar of the waves. Thank you very much Theo for your exceptional way you handled us. You made our holiday. Bazley is a wonderful, safe and quiet place. You will definitely see us again soon.
I would recommend Bazley Heights to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Very clean unit with all amenities you will need. Definitely the friendliest host who will go out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible!

The most amazing place that is even better than your home away from home! The attention to detail is magnificent and it has everything you need for a perfect family getaway even with your family pet! The pool area is a total bonus and treats to your sunny days. Not to mention Theo The Super Host! Always on call and ready to advise and so warm and friendly. We will be back for sure! Access to the beach is a short walk down the hill on a quiet and clean beach.
Theo thought of absolutely everything - even notifying us that the national shutdown on our arrival day could hinder our progress, and offering to move our travel dates if we wanted to accommodate this unexpected consideration. The dogs jumped straight out of the car and made themselves comfortable in the fully-enclosed garden before running through the very neat apartment - while Theo welcomed us all inside. The amenities were fab, so we only needed to bring our own food along. In terms of relaxation, I think we would struggle to find a more peaceful place to rest, and the private pool was a welcome reprieve from the summer heat. Our pups were able to run free on the beach here, so I would definitely recommend this spot for folks travelling with their pooches. Thank you Theo for the amazing hospitality!

Theo who owns and runs Bazley Heights is a true manifestation of thoughtfulness. We were greeted with a package of goodies for us, our children and dog children. The sea is a stone's throw away and you walk the most beautiful path to get there. Bazley will be seeing us regularly for many years to come.
Theo really made our stay very nice. If you need time to get out of the city life, this is it. Out dogs also enjoyed the open spaces.
Theo, our host, has created a little paradise. Wow, we thoroughly enjoyed the time and also had the chance to watch whales from the front porch. Beautiful sea view. We will definitely be back for more.
Theo was an excellent host who made us and our dog children feel at ease and at home - almost like old friends. Even with Phase 6 loadshedding, the gas stove ensured that we could always drink coffee - and luckily the sea doesn't bother itself with loadshedding. It's a beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, secure unit. There are plenty of fans for hot days and blankets for the cooler days. Being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves in my ears was exactly what I needed. Thank you! At first glance it looks very isolated, but we soon discovered that the caravan park in Bazley has a small shop and even a small "fast food" cafe. In Pennington, which is just around the corner, we went to the Beach Café by Impethu to treat ourselves to good food and nice walking routes in nature. We saw monkeys several times, different types of goats and the most beautiful birds - right from the porch. Blessed. We even had a barbecue and a swim one night - it was great! That's how one should rest!
Theo was a great host and made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and was always willing to help where he could. Dogs also really enjoyed it and the accommodation's decor is beautiful and very comfortable. Will go there again for sure.
The owner Theo was a fantastic host, made us feel welcome immediately, pointed out all the necessary places where you can eat, swim, drive and be adventurous, emphasis on privacy is just the top point. My mom and I enjoyed it so much! You only have to walk or drive to the beach a little far, but on the veranda you can see whales while drinking coffee or wine. I'm coming back to Bazley Height again!
Very neat, modern apartment with sea view. Theo is a great host and makes sure you don't need anything. Large yard with lovely pool which my children and dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Quiet and safe. Would love to go back!
