I booked the "Timber House" and still don't know if I stayed in the right house, because it wasn't a "Timber House", also the photos show that I ended up in the wrong accommodation. Upon arrival, the person did not even know what we had booked. The toilet was not flushed, shower curtain dirty, 2 plate gas stove was dirty and the walls needed paint. I understand loadshedding is an issue, but a battery for the gate would be good.
Ideal for quick overnight or extended stays. Loved the colourful setting. We were very warmly welcomed by Colin and his 2 "security personnel", Sampson and Frayer.
Affordable half way stop. Get away from the Cape late. Nice distance to spend the night and drive on again the next day.

Very friendly reception from Alexander who made sure that everything was in order and that we wouldn't get cold. A few practical shortcomings were reported to Alexander on departure like for example a few hooks for hanging space in the bathroom and a shower door instead of a curtain. Excellent accommodation for an overnight stay or overnight stay for a business visit. Traffic noise can be bothersome to some people.
