Beach Break is a light, sunny, very private double-storey self-catering house located on Beach Road in Scarborough, just a 1-minute walk to the beach.
Beach Break has enough space for 1 or 2 families and can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults and 4 children. Also perfect for romantic escapes as the king bedroom is upstairs.
The house comprises 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is located upstairs and contains a king-size bed and a shower en-suite. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a shower en-suite. The third bedroom contains a double bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed, as well as a shower en-suite with a basin and toilet. The second and third rooms lead out to the garden.
The kitchen, lounge and dining area are open-plan. In the morning, sunlight floods through the kitchen, and you can enjoy your breakfast on the back balcony while enjoying the view of the mountain. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The dining area features a large 8-seater dining table and chairs. The living area boasts comfy couches, board games, a docking station for music, and blankets for those chilly winter evenings. A wood-burning fireplace keeps the living area cosy.
The living area has sliding doors leading to the upstairs balcony which has plenty of seating for soaking up the sun, Weber braai facilities, and a retractable awning for shade. A TV with Netflix is available.
The large secure garden is ideal for children to play, and a basket of outdoor toys with bats and balls is provided. There is also a firepit and braai area in the back garden.
The Camel Rock Restaurant, and The Hub Café & Foragers Deli and both nearby. Guests can explore Cape Point, and Boulders Beach to see the penguins, Kommetjie, Long Beach, Noordhoek, and Chapman's Peak Drive, all of which are close by. Dusty was very welcoming and explained everything to us, just like Sue in the email. We could just relax and enjoy the time with each other. Will definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location.
The location is perfect for when you just want to get away and unwind. Although the area is remote, you don't feel excluded from society. Checkers and Pick n Pay deliver in the area, so you'll never run out of food or beverages.
We couldn't have asked for more from our host and had an absolutely perfect weekend in Scarborough. The place is well-located, spotless and has everything you need.
This house is perfect for anyone wanting to relax and to not get into a car. Easy walk to the beach. Beds for 10 people. Everything one could possibly want in terms of amenities. Two lovely patio areas. Beautiful outside boma area. Honestly, we could not fault this property - it was perfect.
We had a nice stay, but after having a break-in, we were a little uneasy about the safety of the area. The children were very scary. We suffered a lot of damage. The communication with the owner/agent could improve a lot, especially if there are problems. Couldn't get hold of her when we had a power problem in the evening. We were also given wrong keys on arrival. The lady given to washing and ironing needs a lot of training because she doesn't know how to fold clothes.
What a lovely, beautiful seaside house that is perfectly located! Can't wait to visit again!
